For too long, the status quo has defined how Town Hall operates. This campaign is about challenging it.
After months of knocking on doors and listening to residents, one thing is clear: people are ready for change.
A new approach. Real accountability. Leadership that listens. And a Town government that puts Newburgh residents first. #townofnewburgh #orangecountyny #newburghny #localelections
Out in the neighborhoods today, connecting directly with residents and listening to what matters most to our community. Too many infrastructure and road concerns have been overlooked for decades, and it’s time for real, proactive solutions. #TownofNewburgh #orangecountyNY #LocalElections #newburghny
PART 1 OF 5: When the Lines Blur: What Cronyism Looks Like
When the same people control Town Hall for too long, the lines between public service, personal relationships, and political loyalty can begin to blur.
This series takes a closer look at that culture—and why it’s time to change it.
Town Hall should serve the public. Period.

Residents raised concerns. Town Hall heard them—and added more cameras anyway.
Public safety matters. So do privacy, transparency, and accountability.
We shouldn’t have to choose between safety and privacy. Good government can—and should—protect both. #newburghnewyork #TownofNewburgh #votekrasner #newburghny
September 11, 2001 will forever be etched into the American story—a day of unimaginable loss and heartbreak, but also a powerful testament to the courage, resilience, and unity of a people bound by freedom.
In the face of terror, America did not surrender to fear. We stood together. Strangers became neighbors. Communities became families. And from one of our darkest hours emerged a reminder that hatred may wound us, but it cannot extinguish the light of courage, compassion, and hope.
Today, we remember the innocent lives taken, honor the heroes who ran toward danger, and hold close the families who have carried the weight of that day ever since.
May we never forget—not only what we lost, but the unity we found in one another.
May God bless America, and all people and nations who yearn for peace.
Over the past few months, our campaign has been doing what I believe local campaigns should do: showing up, knocking on doors, attending community events, listening, and talking directly with the people who call the Town of Newburgh home.
And one thing has become clear: residents care deeply about the direction of our Town.
The same issues come up again and again—responsible growth and development, infrastructure and quality of life, fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability, and a Town Hall that listens to residents and works for everyone.
Those conversations continue to shape this campaign, and the momentum is building.
As we head into the fall, there will inevitably be more political advertising, signs and distractions. You may have noticed the new “Democrats for Manley” signs around town.
So, just for clarity: Scott Manley is running for Town Supervisor on the Republican and Conservative ballot lines. I am running on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines.
People are absolutely free to support whichever candidate they choose, regardless of party. I respect that. But voters also deserve clarity about who the candidates are, what we stand for, and the records we bring to this race.
Our campaign will not engage in or support messaging designed to confuse voters, blur those distinctions, or rely on petty political gimmicks. There’s enough cynicism in politics already.
Instead, let’s put the two candidates and our ideas side by side.
I’d welcome the opportunity to sit down with Scott Manley for a public debate or candidate forum where residents can hear directly from both of us, compare our records and priorities, and ask the questions that matter to them.
No gimmicks. No campaign spin. Just two candidates making their case and trusting the voters to decide.
That’s what this election should be about.
Between now and November 3, we’ll keep knocking on doors, talking about the issues, answering questions, and making our case for a different direction at Town Hall.
Thank you to everyone who has opened a door, volunteered, put up a sign, attended an event, or simply shared an idea with us.
We’ll keep showing up. We’ll keep listening. And we’ll keep putting the Town of Newburgh first.

Great weekend out across the Town of Newburgh—knocking on doors, talking with voters, and listening to what matters most. Even better doing it alongside some incredible volunteers and fellow candidates, including Congressman Pat Ryan, Lisa Kaul for State Senate, and Bernie Rivers for Orange County Sheriff.
Good people. Great conversations. Real grassroots energy. Let’s keep the momentum going!
America wasn’t built in boardrooms. It was built by people who get up every morning and go to work.
By those who build our roads, grow our food, care for the sick, teach our children, serve our communities, create new ideas, maintain the systems we rely on, and turn hard work into opportunity for the next generation.
Labor Day is more than a day off. It is a tribute to the dignity of work and the countless contributions—seen and unseen—that keep our communities and country moving forward.
Today, we honor everyone who shows up, supports their families and neighbors, and helps build a stronger America.
Out in the Town of Newburgh, talking with residents and listening to what matters.
That’s how we bring real change to Town Hall — show up, listen, and get to work.
One conversation. One neighborhood. One town at a time.

Great afternoon out in the Town of Newburgh with Congressman Pat Ryan.
Campaigns are won by showing up, listening, and having real conversations — one door and one neighborhood at a time. Grateful to Pat Ryan and everyone who came out keep building momentum toward November.
Out knocking doors with Councilwoman Mary McLymore and talking directly with Town of Newburgh residents about what matters to them.
This campaign is about showing up, listening, and working together to bring real change to Town Hall. #NewburghNY #TownofNewburgh #TownHall #Vote – at Newburgh, NY
The Town of Newburgh deserves leadership that listens, solves problems, protects taxpayers, and plans for the future. I’m running for Town Supervisor to challenge the status quo, bring integrity and accountability back to Town Hall. #townofnewburgh #newburghny #orangecountyny #NY – at Newburgh, NY
Newburgh taxpayers spent millions in court because of the status quo’s failure of leadership and inability to work with residents. We can’t change those choices—but we can demand accountability, better priorities, and a Town Hall that puts residents first. #Newburgh
Honored to be endorsed by Matt Castelli’s New Democrats of New York.
I’m running to bring common-sense, transparent, accountable leadership to Town Hall—not just hold the Supervisor’s office.
Proud to stand with NDNY for results-driven leadership.

Town government should work for everyone—not just the well-connected. As Supervisor, I’ll work to end the culture of nepotism and cronyism in Town Hall to ensure that hiring, appointments and decisions are based on merit and fairness.

This is a deeply concerning development for the Town of Newburgh. If this report is accurate, a long-term federal lease has been approved for an ICE facility. I do not believe this reflects the future many residents want for our town. #Newburgh

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, dignity, and the ongoing pursuit of a more just and inclusive democracy. As we honor this important day, may it inspire us to build stronger communities, treat one another with respect and strive to ensure opportunity and fairness for all.
Honored to earn the support of Congressman Pat Ryan and to have the endorsement of Patriot PAC NY.
At a time when trust in government feels strained, campaigns rooted in integrity, accountability, and public service matter more than ever.
Grateful for the support.
Democracy isn’t measured by who wins—but by whether the process is honored. When that process is tested, we all have a duty to pay attention, ask questions, and demand accountability.
