Imagine what Asta’s thinking not even having seen the fight. Asta fought Dante first hand with Yami and they BARELY pulled through. But then he walks up on Magna defeating him in a 1v1.
Asta has always looked up to Magna and I felt like it was the right thing to have Magna secure this revenge dub because Magna is Yami’s homeboy. They gamble together and they were running shit together. Magna needed to show why he was still their superior.
