Posting my latest YouTube video here! 🤖 It starts as a review of the reBot B601-RS, but dives into my vision for the future of robotics. Imagine telling a robot what to do, pointing, or demonstrating a task, and having an AI agent figure out the rest. Rather than one giant neural net controlling every joint, agents write code and orchestrate traditional control, vision, navigation, and learned policies as needed. As AI gets smarter, the bottleneck shifts from intelligence to real-world context and communicating human intent. 0:00 Intro 1:30 Unboxing 3:55 Performance 5:20 AI + voice programming 7:30 Teleoperation 8:25 Learned physical AI policies 9:15 Agentic robotics 11:57 Verdict

Formic raised $50M in Series B funding. 100+ facilities. 30+ states. 99.6% uptime. Now scaling physical AI onto real factory floors. read it in @axios - axios.com/pro/all-deals/2026…

Sometimes I take for granted how ahead of the curve the X community is Went to a local entrepreneur night AI uses cases cases I think of as “old and boring” are blowing minds: - Prospecting leads w/ scraper APIs - Predictive inventory management - Even expense categorization

Just bought an Intel RealSense camera! Next we feed the data to Astra and let it cook 🔥

Now that I ordered all the rover parts, I might screw around with Astra for robot arm control. Any thoughts on some experiments I should run? might make for a cool livestream at some point 😉

If anyone is near Minneapolis and wants to hit up an advanced manufacturing conference, check this out! I'll be at there both the 28th & 29th and would love to connect 🤝 @MDM_Tradeshows

Vibe CAD is blowing my mind lately. It was only a couple months ago I needed a mechanical engineer to help me with the v2 CAD. Now, that same task was accomplished in an hour. We are entering a golden age for builders everywhere. If you can think it, you can build it.

Kudos to the reBot for putting up with some abuse! Yesterday I tested various base widths to determine the minimum footprint for my autonomous chassis to keep it stable on sloped terrain. - Constants: 23% grade, 43lb platform weight (including robot arm) - Variable: Tested widths between 12 to 18 inches (measured center-to-center) - Result: 18 inches proved to be very stable for realistic working ranges. Using this information, I'll be finalizing the chassis design and start ordering parts this week!

Nothing like some robot fails on a Monday... 😵 Looks like 5lbs is just too much when the arm is fully extended. Thankfully the overcurrent protection on the power supply kicked in before frying anything

Sometimes I think we need a new term beyond “physical intelligence” to encompass the fusion of AI for robotics control, AI for CAD of robots + fixtures, and agents orchestrating the entire workflow from initial user demand to completed work. Maybe “generative automation”?
