Joker is 9 of 14 at the rim this season. I do not see someone who can't get to his spots, I see someone who has not tried that much. He has 32 jump shots to 14 rim attempts. They're switching pick and rolls so it's not monster bigs. The shooting around him definitely hurts him getting to various spots (they NEED to add another shooter). But ultimately, and this slides downhill to the rest of the team for me, he just does not seem engaged, the same way he did not seem engaged in the playoff series. I have no explanation because I've never been able to explain Jokic's thought process and can't begin to. Maybe it's the body. But to me it continues to look like the spirit and the mind.
