Sweeney meets Blake’s 7 with Doctor Who strangeness. Not the 60s Kirby hit on repeat. Here I stand and face the rain. I know that nothing’s gonna be the same again. I fear for what tomorrow brings. a-ha – Here I Stand and Face the Rain. 🎤 🎹 🥁 youtube.com/watch?v=jPk9FhbS… Captain Britain isn’t getting his normal life back. Toy Tuesday. 🦁 🪁 Captain Britain. 🇬🇧 'VAARRR!' 💥 Well hello there, *Reader's Voice. We (FINALLY) found THIS custom on Figure Realm - Captain Britain taking one of his (many) beatings from the Fury, with Funhouse Jaspers energy in the background. 🃏 Chessboard floor, white door, sand, the whole crooked-world staging. It’s the Alan Moore/Alan Davis moment most toys politely ignore. But we'll call it? The Captain Britain 'Holy Grail' moment in Angelo sculpts. 🏆 figurerealm.com/customfigure… For contrast, the classic Bowen Designs sculpted bust still looks the part when you want the Davis full patriotic kit. RaddTitan’s short captures the “very pleased collector” 😎 reaction cleanly: youtube.com/shorts/KMDIo2ZZ5… Bowen 'Glam Rock' 'Lion' Mini-Bust AND wider merch history (cards, Lego minifig, masks, jigsaws, the usual) lives here: britishcomics.fandom.com/wik… And if you prefer the modern uniform vibe, Super-Duper’s look at the Marvel Legends Captain Britain alongside 'Spider-UK' still holds up: super-dupertoybox.blogspot.c… Hard to top last week’s triple AAA Angelo 'big love' sculpt, but the Fury diorama is THE Grail Cup. Sometimes the interesting Captain Britain is the one on the floor... (...with, 'That's gonna hurt in the morning, Son.' 🤕 Vibe.)

Captain Britain. 🇬🇧 Week 4. After Moore. The monthly. Issues 2 & 3. Crazy Gang back. “Orf wiv their ’eads!” 👑 Slaymaster free. Dai Thomas still tracking. Davis in full flight. Brit Grit elegance. Silhouetted, moonlit, low-key. 🌙 Not cosmic noise. The book finding its feet. Own series for the first time since the glam years. 🪩 “You can’t deny, there’s something dark against the light. All I can say is…it doesn’t have to be this way.” a-ha – Dream Myself Alive. 🎤 🎹 🥁 youtube.com/watch?v=mmqV_hiN… #CaptainBritainMonth #AfterMoore #AlanDavis

Movie Monday: Captain Britain and the Amulet of Right. 🎞️ 🇬🇧 A shy physics student. A near-fatal motorcycle crash. Merlyn and Roma offering the choice between the Amulet of Right and the Sword of Might. He chooses the path of reason…and becomes Britain’s champion. Protect Avalon. Re-energize a broken empire. Stand against the primordial dark. Glam-rock soundtrack (Slade, T. Rex and the rest of that 70s charge). Cavill… or an unknown in the Reeve tradition. (Credit to @comixandcrypto for the spark. Community energy that lands gets featured.) 🎤 🎸 🥁 👢 🪩 youtube.com/watch?v=zRgWvvkS… #MovieMonday #CaptainBritain #Glamrock

Captain Britain. 🇬🇧 Week 4. After Moore. 🪄 The handoff. Corps first. One room, every Britain. 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 👑 Albion, England, Airstrip One, Commonwealth. “Well met, bravest of Captains.” Moore’s last expansive flourish - the Omniverse. 🌎 🌍 🌏 🌐 🌌 deconstructed, Brian realising how small one Britain is. Wit and scale. Then he leaves. 🍂 Next: the scaffolding. Full moon. 🌕 GRADANNG! Micky falls. The caption already points forward: “NEXT: TEA AND SYMPATHY.” 🫖 ☕️ 💔 Davis takes the wheel. The cost lands. No fight shown. Just the weight. Then the doorframe. Brian’s size against a normal doorway. Apologetic body language. Timid entrance. Joan Scott: “No you’re not. I lost Micky a long time ago.” Human scale after the cosmic noise. The tea is already in the room. Davis proving the writing chops in one panel. Closer: Captain Britain #1 cover. January 1985. “Exploding from the Mighty World of Marvel…” The book that shouldn’t have happened after the merger, but did. The copies you bought back. Lacrimosa for the exit. Mozart’s Requiem. A quiet one for Moore, Merlin and Micky... 🎻 🎤 🎹 🥁 youtube.com/watch?v=FRO8SQjn… #CaptainBritainMonth #AfterMoore

Captain Britain. 🇬🇧 Week 3 closer. (Davis / Crooked World.) “I… I think he’s going to kill it. Because if he doesn’t…if he can’t kill it…then it’s all up to you.” The deck was already crooked. 🃏 Jaspers built the fun-house; the Fury was the only thing inside it that still answered to its programming... VVAAARRR! 💥 The moment the board stopped being a comic. 🎤 🎸 youtube.com/watch?v=pO1HC8pH… #CaptainBritainMonth #CrookedWorld

Gaming Saturday. 🕹️ ⚔️ 🏹 🪄 🔥 In the stone halls the party moves as one. Time only advances when someone steps forward - everyone else answers at the same pace. Seven different faces, seven different jobs: the shield, the axe, the arrow, the flame, the heal. The rooms have been rebuilt room by room. Characters that breathe between the strikes. It still carries that old arcade weight. @tkworks_gamedev Free demo on Steam. store.steampowered.com/app/4… #GamingSaturday #IndieGames #RallyTheParties
