What better time to say this than on a touch grass weekend. It’s an amazing time to be alive and working on THE BLOCK with a team of absolute chads. A full year and months of learning, catching trends, cooking bangers, and throwing art/memes at the wall to see what sticks.
BLOCKNADS IS A FREE MINT! Two years ago, three co-founders decided to do something different - they decided to build a community that dared to do things differently. We started with no funding, no roadmap hype, just conviction, curiosity, and a vision to build for the long run on Monad and shape the future of web3. Since then, we’ve shown up every day - and it has been an amazing and inspiring ride as we’ve grown, failed, learned, shipped, and evolved together with YOU. Here’s what we’ve done in just 2 years: • Built one of the most organic and tight-knit communities • Built @The_BlockBot which is the fastest and most intuitive Telegram trading bot on Monad • Obviated the need for wallet address collection for whitelist mints via the invention of 0-WW™ • Explored a new way for public mint making botting almost impossible • Started a company @BlockLabsX • Created and open-sourced Gener8, helping creators automate NFT generation • Partnered with builders and communities across and beyond Monad • And refined our art over and over until it became one of the best and most distinct in web3. We're proud of what we have achieved so far and we're grateful for the community we've built. Having a tight-knit and amazing community has always been our goal starting out, this made us decide on a limited supply of 999 from the get-go. Every @BlockPermit holder was intentionally handpicked with transparency and we couldn't be more proud of the community we've built so far. This community was never about numbers, it has always been about people. What we’ve built together is priceless, and you’ve proven that you truly can’t put a price on community. That’s why we’re making BlockNads a completely FREE MINT. Mainnet to us isn’t a destination, it’s our takeoff point. We’re just getting started, and we’ll continue to build the future of web3 together. More details on the mint structure soon. There'll be a public mint where everyone gets a chance at minting regardless of whitelist status. From all of us; thank you for believing, building, and being part of this journey. EXPLORATIONS ARE IN ORDER!

Perpshood remains one of the most interesting infras on Robinhood right now, and the article from @blocmates lays it out clearly. Here are some of the highlights: Each coin’s perp position is owned by the coin through a sub-wallet. A keeper bot runs every 15 seconds, claiming the fees a coin generates and routing them accordingly: 30% funds the perp position, 30% goes to holders as a dividend, 15% goes to the creator, 15% goes to the protocol, and 10% goes to the coin’s own flywheel strategy. The keeper also takes profit from the position and routes it to buybacks, either buy-and-burn or buy-and-LP, depending on the strategy picked by the creator at launch Coins can be paired with tokens like ETH and USDG, or with tokenized stocks like NVDA ,TSLA and others. Holder dividends are paid in the quote token of the creator’s choice, so holding the coin can actually pay you.

Most launchpads end the story at "fees get collected." On @PerpsPadfun the fees keep working after that. Every token launches with a live perp strategy behind it. The creator picks the quote asset (BTC, HYPE, TSLA, NVDA, even OPENAI pre-IPO) and the position (long, short, or a basket) before launch. Trading fees are split automatically: perp collateral, holder rewards, buybacks, creator, protocol. Two details that make this hold up: Each token has its own treasury wallet. No shared collateral, no cross-token contagion. If the perp gets liquidated, the token survives. The strategy pauses, and once fees rebuild, the position reopens on its own. Volume → fees → perp activity → more volume. Launching takes a minute: → Connect wallet → Create token → Pick quote asset → Choose long or short → Set leverage → Launch PERPIFY EVERYTHING!

What if a memecoin flywheel could carry a thesis? On PerpsPad, it can. Create a bin of 2-5 tokenized assets with @PoiseFinance, pair it with your meme and back the launch with a perp. You earn from the bin, the meme and the perp. One conviction, multiple ways to earn. Coming soon to Perpspad.

Perpspad was built on one idea: what you pair a coin against says what you believe. Perps, stocks, RWAs. It's been the home for conviction pairing since day one. Now we're expanding what you can pair against. Heres a technical look at what we're building. Until now, a pair could express one view: one stock, one perp, one asset. With the perp basket feature been live on perpspad since day 1, we’re expanding on this feature. We’re not just enabling underlying asset backing with baskets, we’re introducing conviction tokens. Real conviction is usually a combination. "AI" isn't one ticker. Neither is "bull run". So we're making the combination itself pairable. @PoiseFinance an engine for tokenising convictions. A bin is 4–5 tokenized assets (stocks, commodities, RWAs, crypto) with fixed target weights issued as a single SPL token that can be minted by depositing the underlying tokens and redeened for them at any time Each SPL token is backed by the underlying tokens held onchain, and its value is the bins's combined NAV (Net Asset Value). The NAV comes from what the vault actually holds. Not from a pool's spot price, and not from target weights. Pools can quote a bin. They don't get to define what it's worth. At creation, the SPL token is minted and a pool is created on @MeteoraAg in the same flow, so a bin is tradable the moment it exists. A keeper then watches market price against the NAV of the bin and rebalances them when they drift. what does this mean for @perpspadfun: On Perpspad, a bin becomes a quote option. Launch a coin against a bin as an option , currently we have three options for token launches, and it inherits the bin's and narrative. Every trade that routes through a bin generates fees, the minted SPL tokens goes to the person who created the bin and also to Perpspad protocol to feed the flywheel. Perpspad is the first home for bins. Conviction pairing. @MainJeefx and I already built the infra during super team Georgia startup week, we’re fully fleshing out the idea now. Powered by @sunrise and @MeteoraAg, we’re excited to be building and expanding perpspad on @solana. Shout out to @sudotx @lordghostx for being a very important part and contributing to this project, @PoiseFinance Read the paper here: github.com/adpthegreat/poise… NOTE: poise will strictly be focused on providing the infra possible to conviction type bins. There is no and will not be any token for poise. Every fee, revenue will be routed to @perpspadfun We will win forever

the past few days on the nerdy side of ct has been about the front-running and sandwich attacks observed on rh chain via fomo that's the core problem monad's encrypted mempool solves i do believe that this, coupled with a fully onchain routing aggregator (moose.trade/) that ensures traders don't get exposed to massive negative slippage due to spoofing, is the bar
🚨 New paper alert 🚨 No Place to Hide: An Analysis on Protected Order Flow Sandwich Attacks w/ Ozan Solmaz @boez95 @ChristofTorres Bots watch every pending trade in Ethereum's public mempool and sandwich the ones worth attacking. Hence the nickname: the dark forest. In response, Ethereum and other chains built protections, from private RPCs to mechanisms native to the chain, that shield trades from these bots. We call this protected order flow. How well are these users actually protected? We measured it in a three-year study of sandwich attacks by persistent bots against protected order flow on Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Base, Arbitrum, and Monad. The protections on these chains range from private RPCs on Ethereum and private submission to a centralized sequencer on Base and Arbitrum, to first-come-first-served ordering in Tron's public mempool and local mempools on Solana and Monad. Local mempools were never meant as a full front-running prevention, but they do limit who sees a trade before it lands. On four of the six chains, we observe protected order flow sandwich attacks: 28.0M attacks on Solana, 38,567 on Tron, 30,607 on Ethereum plus 2,576 more through reorged blocks, and 1,889 on Base. We trace each chain's exposure and find that it sits in various places along a transaction’s path. 🟠 Ethereum: OFAs can expose enough information to make private trades sandwichable, especially when the same transaction reaches multiple OFAs or when searchers receive full transaction details. Reorged blocks also expose private transactions. We find transactions that were private and untouched in a block that got reorged, and then sandwiched on the canonical chain. 🟠 Solana: transactions are sent to the upcoming leaders, and early on we find that a few leaders carry far more attacks in their blocks than their share of blocks, i.e., they are likely the exposure source for these transactions. From 2025 that fades, but we see that victims concentrate around a few apps. 🟠 Tron: we presume that bots win latency races in the public mempool, so the first-come-first-served ordering in block building does not fully prevent sandwiches. 🟠 Base: we see two different kind of exposure. One lines up with a documented RPC bug that exposed pending transactions. The other has attackers preying on victims who trade on a predictable schedule, if the vicim does the same trade every couple of blocks, the attacker can front-run them without observing the pending trade. Protected order flow sandwiches look very different from public mempool sandwiches. The attacker's transactions often land in a different block than the victim's, and unlike in the public mempool, their success is not guaranteed. These attackers simply don't act with the same certainty. The dark forest may have shrunk, but we show there's an even darker corner of it, where users who think they're protected still get front-run. Protection has to hold at every layer, from the app to the RPC to the block producer. Encrypted mempools and TEE-based designs can help, by keeping transaction contents out of attackers' reach until inclusion. But even they might not be enough on their own without privacy, for example if the victim is too predictable. Link: arxiv.org/abs/2609.28115

I swapped some SOL to USDC using @Paybox today, then used it to make a few predictions on @world_xyz 🌎 Everything felt surprisingly smooth! The website is fast, the UX is snappy, and being able to see the open interest on a market at first glance is such a nice touch. You can immediately tell how active a market is before jumping in. One small fix that would mean the world (no pun intended or maybe...) is having my CASH payout visible on the platform because mine still isn’t showing.
