Special thanks to @LoneStarTrackin for providing GPS tracking of our high-altitude balloon! The balloon launched yesterday from the Academies and was recovered today (thanks to the GPS signal) in Maryland. Students will begin conducting experiments with the recovered payload.

After an afternoon spent rambling through the woods of Maryland yesterday and no signal from the balloon's GPS, we received a GPS ping this morning. @LCPS_Academies teachers have successfully recovered this year's balloon and its experimental payload. Time for data analysis!
