There were an estimated 645,000 people aged 90+ in the UK in mid-2025, a 55.2% increase since mid-2005 (416,000 people).
There were 16,400 centenarians in 2025, up 3.5% since 2024 and +89.8% since 2005 (8,700 centenarians).
