Getting early alphas is easy…. you just need to believe in your own strategy and stick to it.
Before I invest my time in any project (even if a trusted person recommends it or I find it myself), I always do a few checks👇
- I look for authenticity
If a project is copying others or looks fake, stay away.
-Check the investors.
If a known bad investor is involved, it’s a red flag.
-Research the team.
Look at what the team has built before. Good history = more trust.
-Check for full information.
Good projects usually provide everything upfront….. like a whitepaper and roadmap.

An update on the Fungo Genesis auction:
We are issuing a total of $84,150 in refunds.
Today, we did not reach the level of participation we were aiming for, and rather than reduce the supply, we have decided not to complete the auction.
This is not an easy message to write. For months, we have put everything into building the infrastructure needed to make encrypted NFTs possible on Ethereum. But the level of participation we saw today was not enough for us to move forward with the sale as planned.
Throughout development, the Zama team provided technical support and helped us build the best system we could deliver today. This does not mean Zama stands behind or endorses our project. FungoLabs is an independent project building in the Zama ecosystem, and all decisions are our own.
The numbers we shared throughout this journey were real. More than 3,000 projects applied to our launchpad, over 12,000 people joined our X campaign, and we received more than 30,000 whitelist applications. We will share a separate breakdown of these numbers soon.
We also want to be transparent about one thing: projects like this cannot run on excitement alone. Infrastructure, servers, onchain activity, and the work of the team all come with real costs. Without enough support, carrying that load is simply not sustainable.
Any payments made by whitelist minters, along with the full amount of every bid, will be refunded. Refunds will be sent directly from the project treasury to your wallets. You do not need to take any action.
Thank you to everyone who gave us their time, believed in what we were building, and supported us throughout this journey. We are sorry we could not meet your expectations.

Bids are placed in cZAMA. cZAMA is the confidential version of ZAMA.
1 ZAMA = 1 cZAMA.
1- Get ZAMA:
Go to the Funds page and open the Swap tab. Uniswap will open with ZAMA already selected. Swap ETH for ZAMA.
You can also withdraw ZAMA directly to your wallet from any exchange that supports ZAMA.
2- Shield it:
Go back to Funds, open Shield, enter the amount, and confirm in your wallet. Your ZAMA is now shielded as cZAMA.
3- Place your bid:
Open the Genesis page, enter your bid in cZAMA per NFT and how many NFTs you want, hit “Place a sealed bid,” and confirm in your wallet.
Keep a little ETH in your wallet for gas.
Bidding opens today at 15:30 UTC and runs for 24 hours.

Here’s how I prepared my cZAMA for the auction.
- Step 1: Swap ETH to ZAMA
I used OKX Wallet to swap ETH directly on Ethereum mainnet for ZAMA.
- Step 2: Convert ZAMA to cZAMA
Visit app.zama.org.
Connect the same wallet you used earlier.
Open the Shield section.
Select ZAMA and enter the amount you want to shield.
Confirm the transaction.
You’ll receive cZAMA at a 1:1 ratio.
- Step 3: Place Your Bid
Open the Genesis mint page using the official link shared by @FungoLabs.
Place your sealed bid using cZAMA.
Here’s how the auction works:
Everyone pays the same final clearing price.
If you bid more than the final price, the excess is refunded.
If your bid doesn’t win, you receive a full refund.
Important Things to Know Before Bidding:
- Bids are binding. You cannot withdraw them.
- Each bid comes with a small, non-refundable fee.
- Calculate the maximum amount you could spend if you won every NFT at your bid price before placing your bid.
