Patients are being contacted by the NHS to check their address. If the patient doesn't respond within 30 days the GP practice then has 3 months to respond or else the patient will be de-registered with the practice (aged 18+). This could delay care and treatment for patients.

We have been campaigning for change on this matter and @JanjuaAdam has put together some great resources to inform the public.

We're at the BMA's Conference of UK LMC representatives in Belfast between 13 and 15 May 2026 with a stand and speaking slot on the Friday at 11.30am aimed at ensuring that the role and suppport provided by the Network is very clear. Come and see us then. @BMA_GP
