Régis Delatouche from @origin_by leads the research and development activities for the development of a sustainable biorefinery concept that can extract multiple ingredients from brown algae and refine them as purified products for food, cosmetics & materials.

Last week our communication partner @SciComms went to Saint Lô 🇫🇷, where they filmed at the facilities of Algaia.
They visited the Algaia facilities, including the laboratory, where our scientist Marine Dehail performed some experiments which are relevant for our project. 👩🔬
Fun fact: since ESCI and Algaia are partners in 2 algae related projects, it was a great opportunity to meet up, interview and film scientists from both, LOCALITY and also our sister project @Algae4IBD.
We are looking forward seeing the final video and learn more about the amazing work done by Algaia!
