If you think @reason is libertarian still, just realize they are pushing unpopular authoritarian top down zoning reforms to force localities to conform to unwanted, expensive regulations.
Lakewood voters rejected a left-progressive zoning overhaul that promised to effectively destroy private property. The article claims the municipality rejected it. False. The municipal council railroaded the zoning overhaul through, ignoring public objections. The PEOPLE of Lakewood then organized and rejected this backroom nonsense, thanks to the efforts of local champions like @RckyMtRdWarrior.
Reason is bemoaning its rejection.

We’ve spent billions.

Worse roads.
