Lamar County deserves more than business as usual. I'm running for County Commissioner, Precinct 2, to bring lower taxes, better roads, transparency, and accountability back to local government. If you're ready for something different, I'd be honored to earn your vote on November 3rd. Lower Taxes. Local Control. Liberty First. 🌐 NathanForLiberty.com #NathanForLiberty #LamarCounty #VotePolsky

A social media post claiming a sitting local judge had conducted more than 600 searches through the Flock Safety system has raised questions about how the law enforcement surveillance system was being used. myparistexas.com/jp-anson-am…

I’ve posted the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office Flock audit records showing searches originating from Lamar County so anyone can download and review them for themselves. My review found that the Case # field was blank on the overwhelming majority of searches, some searches reached thousands of Flock networks, many search reasons were vague or abbreviated, and nearly a quarter of the 2025 searches I reviewed were attributed to a generic “Dispatch1” account—raising questions about individual accountability if that account is shared. These records don't prove that a particular officer abused the system. They do show just how broad this surveillance system is and how difficult meaningful accountability can be. I’ve also posted the Flock contracts in PDF form so you can review the agreements themselves. My position is simple: government should not be tracking the movements of innocent people. I don’t want a more transparent mass-surveillance system. I want Lamar County out of the mass-surveillance business. Families across Lamar County are being forced to make tough choices. When groceries, utilities, insurance, and everything else cost more, we cut expenses and make our budgets work. Government should be expected to do the same. Taxpayers shouldn’t be asked for more year after year while budgets keep growing and we see little improvement in the services we’re already paying for.

Roads and bridges are among the most basic responsibilities of county government—and residents deserve better than temporary patches, delayed maintenance, and problems that are allowed to grow. As your county commissioner, I’ll push for clear maintenance priorities, regular inspections, better oversight of road spending, and accountability for the quality of work performed. The goal is simple: safer roads, dependable bridges, and responsible use of your tax dollars.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, Americans declared that all people possess unalienable rights—and that governments are instituted to secure those rights, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That principle is still worth defending. The Second Amendment is not a privilege granted by the state. It is a safeguard that helps keep a free people free. This Independence Day, honor the Declaration. Defend the Constitution. Protect the Second Amendment. Happy 250th Independence Day. — Nathan Polsky Liberty First.

Flock cameras are sold as a public-safety tool, but across the country these systems have been misused to track people for personal reasons, shared improperly with outside agencies, and used in ways local residents never approved. That is the danger of building a mass-surveillance network: once the cameras are up, the data can be searched, shared, and abused far beyond the original promise. Lamar County should not be part of that system. As County Commissioner, I will oppose Flock contracts and other mass-surveillance programs that treat every resident like a suspect. Protect privacy. Defend liberty. End mass tracking. #LamarCounty #LamarCountyTX #PrivacyRights #EndFlock #StopMassSurveillance #LocalControl #LibertyFirst #NathanPolsky

Shooting down drones over your property should be 100% legal. Jury nullification needs to step up here!
🚨If a drone is hovering outside your window filming you you're just supposed to do NOTHING? How the heck are you supposed to know if it's cops or some creep invading your privacy? Florida man just got arrested for shooting a BB gun at a police drone... but this raises a HUGE question about 4th Amendment rights in the sky.
