On behalf of the City of Louisville, I want to give a huge thanks to firefighter Bryce Carden and the other first responders who rushed to the scene today and bravely rescued the truck driver on the Clark Memorial Bridge. She is alive thanks to your heroic efforts.

Last night I invited some great folks to @RoyalRoomLou for some fellowship and fundraising to support the @LRPFD.
We played some cards for fun, made new connections and raised over $4,000 to support this foundation's vital work helping women, children and families dealing with tragedies.
Their impressive organization is led by Terry Hall, a strong board which gives 95% of all money raised directly to those in need.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with @LRPFD on this project. The Lesley Prather Empowerment Camp will carry on Lesley’s legacy and inspire young girls, the same age as Rhyan, to pursue a career in the fire service. Thanks to @WLKYLaurenAdams and @WLKY for telling the story.❤️🚒
