Hi Louise, start emailing the executives at @AirCanada to get some action. Try [email protected] and [email protected]. Air Canada will be responsible for the cost of anything you need to get while you’re waiting if there is a way to get the items you need.

Sport was life in my family, and I loved gymnastics because it allowed me to fly. But it left scars. Until now, I have never told my story, but if it helps even one child or young person, it’s worth it. We need a national public inquiry into sport. cbc.ca/news/politics/kirsty-…

We shouldn’t need to have signs posted reminding us to be kind and respectful to the staff at hospitals, restaurants, coffee shops etc.
What on earth has happened to us that we have to be reminded to simply be nice and patient to folks who are just trying to help us.

The global pandemic has exposed hardship and fractures in the home care system. Repeatedly, people with disabilities have been asking for more resources in the community. There has not been a substantial investment in home and community care to resolve waitlists in over a decade.

I'm in the hospital today for my regular cancer checkup and blood work (I'm here at least twice a month).
It is busier than I have ever seen it before. So many cancer patients, not enough staff, the ones who are here are exhausted yet somehow still smile at you with their eyes
