Making strides against breast cancer...
Some of our Early LIFE staff and friends joined @AmericanCancer’s walk in support of breast cancer survivors on our team.
We were part of the roughly 50,000 participants who turned out for this 4-mile event.
#BreastCancerAwareness
@AmericanCancer’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a movement to raise funds for lifesaving research and programs. The goal? As ACS says, “to ensure everyone has a fair and just opportunity to live a longer, healthier life free from breast cancer.”

Do your tastes run savory or sweet?
For #HispanicHeritageMonth, @LSSNewYork's Ruth Acevedo shared her mother’s famous arroz con leche soup...
Image is AI generated but recipe is 100% real!
Says Ruth, “I’m convinced this version of #arrozconleche exists only in my mother’s town in Puerto Rico, #Camuy. I’m only aware of one other person outside of my family who makes this dish, and that person comes from Camuy, Puerto Rico. All others seem to make it as a dessert.”
Where do you fall in this great debate: Should arroz con leche be made and served as a soup or a dessert? Let us know below.
And Happy #HispanicHeritageMonth!

It’s officially open!

We did not break. We rebuilt. We persevered.

"I always wanted to be a superhero, but I chose the next best thing. A social worker."
Congratulations to Donovan Clemmons, Senior/High Risk Case Manager at our Bergen Street Residence!
He earned his Master of Social Work degree last week.
