Goodbye and thanks to Sichao Liu - we enjoyed having you join the lab this past year, and hope the next stages of your Swedish Research Council fellowship go brilliantly.
Fascinating presentation from @rhodricusack capturing infant neural representation as reflecting self-supervised learning, at Birmingham workshop on Synergising the Human Brain and Artificial Neural Networks
Some of our lab are on tour today to Birmingham, looking forward to this workshop!
Workshop on "SBA: Synergising the Human Brain and Artificial Neural Networks", 26 April (you can also join online) at the University of Birmingham. Organized/sponsored by @SMQB_UoB, @TheCHBH and the IIDSA.

Promo video for the simultaneous TMS-fMRI setup at the @mrccbu featuring the labs newest PhD student @Runhao_Lu
We are enjoying having lab meetings in the @mrccbu garden again! Last week @lydiabarnes01 presented work from her PhD and Dorian taught us version control using git.
Across all sessions, with both phantom and subject data, TMS pulses delivered a minimum of -40ms/+50ms from the onset of slice readout did not produce visible artifacts. 5/7
We examined the feasibility of applying TMS during short gaps between fMRI slices (1c), as this method provides increased flexibility for experimental design. 2/7
Mobile EEG during the age of corona in the lovely @mrccbu garden with @AlexWoolgar @lydiabarnes01 and @Alyse01001. What are your lab’s creative corona work arounds?
Could we use #neuroimaging to understand more about the capabilities of nonspeaking #autism?
@SlnePetit1 found Functional Transcranial Doppler ultrasound allows for the covert detection of task-following in about half of typically developing children. doi.org/10.1016/j.neuropsych…
