This is what we should be doing in every classrooom in America - and for that matter every newsroom too. We used to value critical thinking - now half our society wants to punish anyone who dares question anything. We cannot submit to that type of tyranny because it is an indicator of something much worse to follow. It is a mistake to think where we are now is the end state. We are one election away from not only going back to the days when parents were routinely treated as domestic terrorists & those who stood up for secure elections in Jan 6 were set-up & treated as insurrectionist to cover up a major crime: the theft of the 2020 election. There are still people today trying to say this is all a conspiracy - they are lying to you and some are probably lying to themselves. Either way, we do not yet have a reckoning for the truth & the accountability that has to follow if any semblance of freedom is to survive.
This is superb.
The lesson begins with the usual catechism: J.K. Rowling has “bigoted opinions”.
Then someone makes the unforgivable mistake of reading what she actually wrote.
Suddenly, certainty requires definitions. Slogans require evidence. “Everyone knows” requires rather more than everyone saying it.
Critical thinking really is murder on a fashionable consensus.

President Trump gets elected.
Democrats vote AGAINST his agenda on bill after bill.
Then Republican voters get frustrated because everything isn’t moving fast enough…
So the solution is to GIVE DEMOCRATS THE HOUSE?
Make that logic make sense.
You want President Trump to move faster - then you hand subpoena power, committee control and the legislative agenda to the same people fighting him?
Republicans need to stop repeating this cycle:
Elect → get impatient → stay home → lose Congress → complain about gridlock → repeat.
If you want the agenda, give the President a Congress capable of passing it.
Not two years of investigations, obstruction and political theatre.
Vote Republicans in November to give him leverage to continue his work so you can judge the man accurately after he completes his full term.

NEW: The View’s Sunny Hostin seen using her privilege to try to get her son out of trouble for trespassing, tells police she is a “former federal prosecutor.”
“My name is Sunny Hostin… and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” Hostin said while telling police her son went to Harvard.
The host used her elitist privilege to try to get her son out of trouble after he was busted trespassing along Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County.
“That’s my son. He’s a Harvard graduate, he doesn’t have a criminal record.”
24-year-old Gabriel Hostin claims he was jogging when he saw that the gate near the tracks was open.
He was hit with a trespass violation for what can be an arrestable offense, according to the New York Post.
Hostin has been known to shame others for their “white privilege.”

Had to respond to a friend who accused me of being blind to truth about the Karmelo Anthony case because of my profession. My response to him and anyone else with this mindset is as follows :
“The most disrespectful comments usually start with “With all due respect.”
No. I am a Black man who happens to be a police officer. My law enforcement JOB, doesn’t minimize my opinion. It actually strengthens it as I have get to see things from all perspectives while you are limited to what you are told to think as a Black person. You are conditioned to only see things through a racial lens first. The same lens I was indoctrinated to see things through until I saw the other side. Choosing logic over emotion doesn’t make me less Black or make me forget what it is to be Black.
While you are led by your feelings, I am enhanced with the knowledge, understanding and practical application of the law.
Regardless of my complexion, 2 + 2 will always be 4. The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. It will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter and….
If you stab someone for just pushing you, you will be charged.
Some things are just what they are and have zero to do with race but personal actions and choices.
At the end of the day, if you don’t want to end up caught up in a system you feel is corrupted, think before your actions so you don’t get caught up.
If someone cared enough about Karmelo to tell him this, he’d be free right now.”

Dear black folks,
Okay… have a seat… there’s something we really need to discuss.
*leans in* You know… we really don’t have to stand with Karmelo Anthony because he’s black. Like, we can just either keep quiet and let the justice system do its thing, or… even better… we can side with the actual victim.
This whole “even if Karmelo is guilty, I’m gonna support him” attitude is exactly why black folks are given side eye all over the world. We have to stop making martyrs out of people who don’t deserve it.
My heroes are my heroes despite their skin color. I look up to men like Clarence Thomas, Dr. Ben Carson, and Dr Thomas Sowell not because they’re black, but because they’re great men. Let’s find more like them.

Join or support lawsuits against illegal property transfers, rent freezes, or receiverships through groups like the Institute for Justice or NYC Common Sense. Organize and vote in 2026 state primaries—back Republicans or moderate Democrats who will block Mamdani's tax plans.

What the hell is going on here?
The NY/NJ World Cup Host Committee took $50 million from New Jersey taxpayers, bought 1,000 tickets at full price, then turned around and sold them for $50 to New Yorkers.
New Jersey families paid the bill, New Yorkers got the bargain.
And the person chairing this committee is New Jersey’s former First Lady.
At some point, this stops being incompetence and starts looking like contempt for New Jersey taxpayers.
