Friendly reminder that if you see any Group account on VGen that doesn't specifically credit the artist who created an individual piece or provides a specific service, that account could be a broker, as that conduct breaks Group Account TOS. The Studio tag doesn't mean it's completely 'safe' if they don't disclose who the individual artists are. Every group account should ideally: 1. Have a list of the names and/or social media of the individual artists participating in the Studio. 2. Provide credits on every artwork so clients know which artist created which pieces, or at least disclose what's the extent of the collaboration. 3. Make ALL roles clear and visible. Who's an admin, who's an artist, who's doing what. This is information that should be public. And even if it's not public, they should have no problem providing this information if you ask, as a client. If you can't find any of this information, or they refuse to provide it, that account might be an unethical broker and should be reported. In this age of brokers trying to pass off as legitimate studios and individual artists, we must be extremely cautious of those who withhold information and refuse to credit individual artists. While VGen is doing a great job at taking reports seriously and banning unethical brokers from the platform, we still need to keep an eye out for those who have slipped under the radar.
