A teen arrested in connection with the February street takeover that damaged several police cruisers in Chevy Chase, Maryland just had all but 30 days of his 5 year prison sentence SUSPENDED 🚨
19 year-old Derrick Henry, of Boyds, pleaded guilty to second degree assault for his role in the street takeover at East-West Highway and Connecticut Ave, which damaged two Montgomery County cop cars.
Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Mary McCormick suspended all but 30 days of Henry’s initial five-year prison term. He will be ordered to report to jail by Monday to turn himself in after he was let out on bond.
Henry will then serve three years of supervised probation and is ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution. As a condition of his probation, Henry will be prohibited from facilitating, encouraging or participating in any car meetups. #MoCo – at Bethesda, MD
