Lemon is on pace for 471 yards. JSN had 628, 15% of his team’s passing yards with DK and Lockett combining for 2k. Smith and Wicks have been missing games and he can’t even produce with nearly 100% route participation, outside the slot too. his own team is telling you
There getting utilized the same way jsn wasn’t running a real route tree till year 3 when he rlly broke out

the obsession with weaponizing the nickel position has shoved a lot of round pegs into square holes
The only problem with Caleb downs is they’re making him play slot corner even though his best college film is at safety? Weird to watch

if you’re gonna tell me that dante moore is gonna be available outside the top ten, sign me up
It’s true that the 2027 QB class hasn’t met the anticipation from the summer, but these quotes feel slanted to paint it as negative as possible. Mestemaker’s film has been really good. Chambliss, even in a down game, had NFL-level throws. Simmons, Chiles, etc. Stuff’s there.

Lol the former Jerusalem Post editor who went on to write more opinions pieces about Israel at the WSJ and NYT than any of his colleagues says people's obsession with Israel drives him crazy.
NYT's Bret Stephens whines that Democrats know "Smotrich and Ben-Gvir" but not "the interior minister of Japan." Their "obsession" with Israel drives him "crazy." (Being politically informed on Israel is now anti-Semitic.)

worth wondering how many kill orders this guy has given
ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt: "I have 45 people at ADL—full-time analysts—45 full-time intelligence analysts tracking the bad guys across social media, across AI, across video games, podcasts, crypto, you name it." "[We've built] software to track Wikipedia [editors]…"

Ballard would never have traded him, which seems like the point
Chris Ballard could have got more than a 3rd and 5th for Quenton Nelson. Maybe the could have waited until after the deadline to make such a move?

I think it’s probably obvious to say he’s the better running back on the team
Braelon Allen this season: -3.8 yards after contact per rush (3rd among 39 RBs) -27.5% tackles avoided per rush (4th) +0.97 rush yards over expected per rush (5th)

he might be the single most overrated WR in the NFL. few guys monopolize targets like he has in his career and been so meh with them
Let’s trade Garrett Wilson for a 1st round pick Then draft a first round WR and PRAY TO GOD they turn out to be…. Garrett Wilson wtf are we doing

Warriors Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg put up his first 30 ball in just his fourth NBA game. 31 PTS, 12 REB, 6 AST, 1 BLK, 9/19 FG, 63 TS% This is NOT a Rookie man 😭

yeah the Bryce Young thing has been hilarious. he’s throwing for yards! he’s not the 25th QB anymore, he’s 16th! so cool for pick 1:1. time to give him $45 mil a year
No slight to Bryce Young he’s playing well but the ceiling is so low for a guy who had the best 6 weeks of his career and is only 16th in EPA On the flip side Drake Maye’s floor & ceiling is just so high he had the worst 3 games of his career and is top 5 Different beasts

QB attrition is real and going back to college forever is not helping
Got a text from another personnel executive this morning, noting that this is the third straight QB class that has had similar problems.

if Mestemaker goes back to school he’s basically risking everything to do it. very stupid

his adot was like under 7 last night and under 10 yards a catch. without either starting WR lol. he was elijah moore, not pretty good
Makai Lemon is pretty good when he doesn't have to catch unblocked bubble screens

Caleb Downs is terrible dude I think he’s deadass 5’10 linebacker

remember when it was blasphemy to project the 5’8 corner as a nickel
I know Jets fans are angry right now — but it should be said that this year’s rookie class is panning out already in a really fun way. David Bailey: 5.5 sacks, 9 QB hits, 3 forced fumbles in seven games Kenyon Sadiq: 2 TDs, 100-yard game, talented enough that fans are already mad he’s not getting the ball more Omar Cooper: Back to back 100-yard/TD games. Looks like the real deal. Darrell Jackson: Already looking like a good find on Day 3. Should play more depending on how long Sweat is out. D’Angelo Ponds is going to see his role increase. He’s learning nickel on the job so expect some bumps — but the talent is there if he can figure out a new position on the fly.
