Generationally bad performance by basically everyone not named Luka on the Lakers tonight.
Final: Lakers 95, Warriors 112
LAL falls to (4-2) and (0-1) in the NBA Cup, after struggling to find an offensive rhythm, failing to get consistent stop defensively, and turning the ball over far too often.
Luka Dončić: 37 PTS | 7 REB | 5 AST | 2 BLK
Austin Reaves: 21 PTS | 4 REB | 5 AST
Walker Kessler: 10 PTS | 13 REB | 5 BLK
Up Next: TOR on Sunday.
I don’t like how JJ is managing Luka’s minutes by playing him the entire 3Q. This is one of the mistakes that cost us against Portland in my opinion.
I would take Luka out with 3 minutes left, bring Austin back in, and let Luka return early in the 4th. Have to manage his minutes better.
Halftime: Lakers 53, Warriors 53
LAL came out firing but cooled off significantly in the 2nd quarter. They’ll need to regain their offensive rhythm in the second half.
Luka Dončić: 24 PTS | 3 REB | 5 AST | 1 STL
Austin Reaves: 10 PTS | 4 AST | 1 STL
Walker Kessler: 6 PTS | 6 REB | 4 BLK
