I am deeply honoured to be elected to the International Court of Justice.
I am grateful for the support and faith states have put in me to serve the @CIJ_ICJ. I look forward to serving the Court with independence and integrity alongside colleagues elected today.
My NYSC set had our annual work anniversary hangout yesterday and we’ve really come a long way. Proud of every single one of them, plus them really see us employ for that set because the unhinged conversations we had cracked me up. @tife_debzara @ife_omo @E_Agidi ❤️❤️
I honestly cannot comprehend when men do this. Except you’re a qualified health practitioner in the field of women’s health, you should shut your mouth when women talk about experiences that affect them.

1/ My thoughts are with the patient confirmed with Ebola in our Federal Capital, Abuja, her family and everyone caring for her, including the health workers among the 44 contacts now being followed up.
Nigeria did not wait for a case to begin preparing. @NCDCgov rated the risk of importation as high on 28 May, soon after the outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was declared, and put ten states, including the FCT, on alert.
PRESS STATEMENT
STAY INFORMED. STAY SAFE.
Public health is a shared responsibility, and the right information helps us all stay safe.
The Federal Government, working with the NCDC and relevant health authorities, is taking the necessary steps to protect public health and strengthen surveillance following the confirmation of an Ebola disease case in the FCT.
There is no need for panic. What matters is staying informed, practising good hand hygiene, knowing the symptoms and seeking guidance from public health authorities if you suspect exposure.
📌 Remember: Ebola spreads through direct contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected person who is sick or has died, or contaminated materials. It does not spread before symptoms begin.
For reliable information or to report a suspected case, call the NCDC toll-free line 6232, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Let’s stay calm, rely on verified information and do our part to keep our communities safe.

If the introduction of online filing is to make filing easier, then why am I waiting long queues for network to be available, why is remita taking long to process, why is it taking longer for my process to get into the court file? And let’s not even mention the half baked Ui/Ux
My day in court yesterday really showed me how much I’ve matured in the profession. In the course of arguing an application, a silk kept taking unnecessary jabs at me and I was not even tempted to take my lick back (which I’d usually do in the craftiest of ways).
