Took a while to get here. The South Texas Energy Foundation is officially a 501(c)(3) now, and our first event is Wednesday, September 23! We set this up for a simple reason: when people in the South Texas oil and gas community need help, there should be somewhere to go. The Oil Baron’s Classic has been a San Antonio poker night for two years. This is year three, and the first with the Foundation behind it. We’re raising money for Brian Clepp, a San Antonio oil and gas attorney in cancer treatment, and for the family of Omar Mendiola, who we lost to cancer earlier this year.
