You’ve been trained to execute, not imagine. But when you’re stuck on the hamster wheel of doing, you protect what exists instead of creating what’s next. Imagination is a competitive advantage. It starts with two words: What if? Make it a habit. #keynotespeaker #imagination #futureself #strategicvision

That moment when someone sees a possibility for themselves they hadn’t seen before is what drives me. Their shoulders relax. Their eyes look up inside their head. Something feels possible again. I know how easy it is to get so focused on keeping everything going that we stop imagining what comes next. To stop seeing possibility. Here’s what it sounds like: I can’t; that would be too hard; I might fail; the time isn’t right. That’s protectionism that is disguised as being practical. Growth is in the tension. See it, feel it, use it to become. #keynotespeaker #futureself #growthmindset

Who doesn’t love a bit of celebration, recognition, and being surrounded by exceptional women? Getting dressed up, clinking glasses, cheering for each other. I’m honored to be named a Woman to KNOW in NJ. I’m humbled to be included among women living with such purpose and impact. As Sarah Benken Foushee said from the stage, the honor comes with the responsibility. That each of us has a responsibility to inspire and teach young women on the rise that anything is possible. Here’s to helping the next generation of women become unstoppable. #womentoknow #keynotespeaker #futureself

The Creator Zone is where you stop imagining what’s possible and start creating from the person you’re becoming. You’re no longer waiting for the future to happen. You’re making decisions that bring it to life. You stop waiting. You start becoming her. What would change if you made decisions from your future, not your past? AI is the knowledge equalizer. So what makes you valuable when everyone has access to the same information? Your edge isn’t simply what you know. It’s your judgment, relationships, wisdom, and imagination. It’s how you turn experience into something valuable. That’s your Intellectual Capital. You may be sitting on an asset you’ve spent your entire life building without fully recognizing its worth. Instead of asking, “What am I missing?” ask yourself: What am I underusing? What could you make possible if you treated your Intellectual Capital like Growth Capital and created a plan to put it to work? Your next level may not require more information. It may require using what you already have. #keynotespeaker #leadershipimpact #futureself Read more

Your first mark isn’t your finish line. It’s the edge of what you can see today. I loved bringing this message to the team at Mondelēz. The real question is: What becomes possible when you look beyond it? #keynotespeaker #futureself #possibility

Every day this quarter, my calendar held the same hour. 1:00 to 2:00. Power Hour Reach Out. Not a client call. Not a deliverable. One hour set aside to reach out and start conversations. When I looked back at Q3, here's what that hour turned into: An investor relations workshop in San Diego. "The CEO of Me," keynote for a global biotech team. An executive influence engagement with a medtech leadership team, which becomes a follow-up workshop next week. An in-person offsite and a half-day working session with a leadership team I coach. A podcast. New coaching clients. A PR partner. A new brand partnership that I’m so excited to share — stay tuned! I’m not perfect. There were a few days when Power Hour got skipped, shortened, or directed differently, but my Power Hour time has become like a good friend, a rhythm that puts me on the path to sharing my purpose. Pressure pulls us into defense. We answer, react, and protect what's already on the calendar. My Power Hour is my offense. Offense has to live on your calendar, or it doesn't live anywhere. What's the one hour next week that belongs to your future? Is it on your calendar yet? What happens if it isn't? Block it today. Here's to the future you're building. #keynotespeaker #futureself #powerhour #growthmindset

We value our losses at a rate that is 2X your wins. Research has proven this. It’s a defining distraction determined to keep you in shame and blame instead of lifting you up with learning and moving with the momentum of the win. Where will you value today? #keynotespeaker #successmindset #leadershipimpact

At 26, I could never have imagined I’d work for Martha Stewart for nearly 20 years. That young girl would also become the CRO of Fast Company She’d also become a published author. She’d survive AML. She didn’t know it when she was 26. She would have said it was impossible. Today, I’m my past self's dream. So are you. What do you not know today that your future self is waiting for you to take action on to make your next leap… #keynotespeaker #futureself #strategicvision #leadershipimpact

Listen to the whispers. You know those thoughts that come when you are in the shower, on a brisk, cool walk, or driving in a quiet car and your mind drifts. Call it your inner wisdom. Call it your future self speaking to you. Whatever you want to call it, start listening. What is it saying? Why is it saying it now? Why am I choosing not to listen? What’s possible when I do listen? What would happen for it to happen? Listen. Answer. Act. #keynotespeaker #futureself #growthmindset #strategicvision

What if your stuck because of a pattern you can’t see? That’s the Awakening Zone. It’s hard to change a pattern you can’t see. Awareness changes that. When you start recognizing your patterns in real time, you create space between what happens and what you do next. That’s where growth begins: when you can see what’s been getting in your way. Take the Future Self Index to discover where you are today, the patterns that may be keeping you there, and what your next level of growth requires. What if we didn’t try to manage pressure, but used it as a signal to expand? Pressure keeps us loyal to what created our success. That’s protection. And it keeps us defaulting to our habits. Optimizing for our past self and not our future self. Instead of expanding what’s possible. Think about a rubber band. It’s useless before it is stretched. When stretched, that tension isn’t a bad thing; it is the very thing that creates, builds, and becomes a solution. #keynotespeaker #successmindset #leadershipdevelopment #strategicvision

After a recent keynote, someone in the audience came up to me to share that I’m helping her make some hard decisions. That stayed with me. Hard decisions are rarely hard because we don’t know enough. They’re hard because something is competing with what we already know—fear, expectations, uncertainty, or the comfort of what’s familiar. Sometimes we need someone to help us see past all of that. Clarity doesn’t make every decision easy. It makes the next move possible. #keynotespeaker #eventplanner #SuccessMindset

The hidden cost of a Vision Gap? Unrealized potential. Organizations don’t plateau because they need to work harder. They plateau when their imagination stops outpacing their reality. The million-dollar question: What has to happen for the bigger future to become possible? Stop optimizing a future that’s already becoming obsolete.

I became the fixer. Every question landed in my inbox. Every decision needed my approval. Every problem became mine to solve. It felt like leadership. Until I realized I was so busy protecting today that I had no space to create tomorrow. I hear leaders say: "If I just had more time to think." Here’s the truth: You don’t lose your ability to create opportunity. You lose the conditions required to see it. That’s the Protection Loop—when pressure makes staying busy feel productive while quietly crowding out curiosity, imagination, and innovation. The greatest threat to growth isn’t pressure. It’s what pressure trains us to prioritize. In my keynote, It’s a Good Thing: Lessons on Innovative Leadership from Martha Stewart, I show leaders how to break the Protection Loop and turn pressure into possibility. Planning your 2027 leadership meeting, sales kickoff, or annual conference? 📩 Let’s talk.

I’m terrified of getting lost. So when I realized my husband and I were nearly 10,000 steps from where we started in St. Andrews, Scotland, panic set in. He said, “I know where we are.” I insisted on GPS. We were less than 5 minutes away. 😂 But it got me thinking about how GPS handles a wrong turn: Recalculating. No judgment. No guilt. No “you should’ve listened.” Just: new information. Find the next best route. I recently had to do the same in my business. I made an investment that turned out to be the wrong one. I spent too long thinking I had to stick with it because I had already committed. But the GPS wouldn’t do that. It would recalculate. Maybe your wrong turn doesn’t mean you failed. Maybe it’s simply new information. What are you being asked to recalculate?

I talk a lot about possibility. It’s not woo-woo, although I do love a good manifestation. Possibility is not pulled from thin air or simply from a wish or a dream. Possibility is a powerful tool to use and leverage for change, growth, and transformation. Everything that once wasn't possible became possible through possibility. Get into possibility today by simply asking yourself a clear, desire-based ‘what if’ question. Then go ask your team to do the same. Throw up all of the possibilities on a whiteboard, and pick one to develop, challenge, and ask: What would have to happen for that possibility to become possible? If you want to learn the power behind a possibility practice for yourself and your team, this is the work I do that has led to massive results for organizations and leaders. Let’s have a conversation. #keynotespeaker #possibility #profit #strategicvision #leadershipdevelopment

The questions leaders ask train people how to think. Want a team that contributes instead of complies? Think ahead instead of waits for direction? Ask better questions. Instead of “Are we good?” ask: “What might we be overlooking?” Better questions create better thinkers - and stronger outcomes. #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #BetterQuestions #TeamCulture #FutureOfWork #ExecutiveLeadership #Speaker

Most organizations chase outcomes: more revenue, customers, growth. The Savannah Bananas asked a different question: How do we change the experience of baseball? That vision changed everything—and the results followed. Vision gives leaders a filter for decisions. Outcomes only give them a target. So ask yourself: What future are you creating that makes your goals possible? Vision first. Results follow. #Leadership #BusinessStrategy #Innovation #Growth #FutureOfWork
