Reminder to my Idahoan brethren and sistren:
Polls are open NOW for early voting. Early voting ends October 30th--this Friday.
Election Day is November 3rd (Tuesday).
Christ's literal Church is AGAINST this initiative. Get out there and vote NO on Prop 1. It's important.
I swear, whenever I upload and post a vid, the post gets nerfed. No engagement.
I dont think I'm imagining it. What gives? Why would the algo suppress uploaded vids?
Some may call it cringe, some may say it's in bad taste, but personally I LOVE this song. It gives me chills.
Apparently, it was inspired by a late-19th century novel called Tess of the d'Urbervilles. I read the synopsis. It's devastating.
"I see sirens spinning around through my eyelids..." Beautiful imagery. It conveys so much--closing her eyes, accepting her fate, at peace with her decision, finally free. It's powerful stuff IMO.
I'm a big fan of Ice Nine Kills--just please, please don't watch any of their music videos π

The cited "research" is a survey by Chyrpe, a niche dating app built for female-led/femdom relationships and users seeking that dynamic, not a representative or scientific study of women generally.

I think all religions are GOOD--or can be good if they promote good principles and teach of a just, loving God.
But I don't think all religions are equal. I'm not so sure Pope Leo said that either. This seems like clickbait.
SCANDAL: Pope Leo suggests all religions are equal and omits any mention of Jesus Christ at Vatican's Assisi interfaith event.
Leo declared peace must be manβs guiding star, while treating false religions as equal to the Catholic faith.

I found a seller selling the same thing for a good price. Bought it from him. These auctions are for the birds. Maybe once I start getting into the expensive stuff, then I'll use the auctions. The idea that someone can swoop in and beat me using pocket change is aggravating.
Woke up to find that someone had beat my price on Ebay. I thought I had it in the bag, so I went to sleep. The auction ended at 11:30.
Beat me by 15 cents.

"And I saw wars between the Nephites and the Lamanites in the course of my days..."
That would make a good introductory title card for a movie, like "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..."
In preparation, as I wait for my hard copy of Warfare in the Book of Mormon to arrive, I'm going to read the source material.
Warfare in the BoM catalogues all of the major conflicts in the Book of Mormon as follows (R.J. stands for Reign of the Judges):

hufflepuff?

Hufflepuff. Your posts show deep loyalty to family and faith, hard work on self-improvement and study, patience, fairness with others, and a clear drive to be a peacemaker. Those are core Hufflepuff traits.
"The Nephites did not dichotomize their world between church and state as we do . . . For the Nephites . . . Godβs will was often revealed through the ordeal of battle: God scourged and punished his people by the ravages of war, or God blessed his people by marching at the head of their armies and giving them the victory (this was a deeply held religious belief of Captain Moroni, but one scoffed at by his enemy Zerahemnah). To the Nephites, the matters of war were all-important religious affairs and sacred obligations, not the optional exploits of imperialistic monarchs or of mercenary soldiers of fortune."
BREAKING: Pope Leo claims there is "no such thing as a holy war," contradicting Catholic teaching on just war.
Leo XIV rejects centuries of Catholic tradition that blessed crusades and canonized warrior saints.

Restitution is an important, oft overlooked, part of the repentance process. When possible, we should seek to repair any harm done.
There are many cases, though, where the best course of action is to let sleeping dogs lie.
