🎥 From Beaver Creek: Why Para is the key catalyst for Latin Explore
▶️ Watch the full interview: youtu.be/uGnj4VHXVJs?si=Wiqn…
Latin Explore President & CEO Donovan Pienaar sat down with @resourcestock_ @RSDigest at the 2026 Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit to discuss the Company’s copper-focused exploration strategy in Peru and the upcoming drill program at Para.
Para is a 100%-owned, undrilled copper-molybdenum porphyry target where recent IP work outlined a 1.8 km × 1.6 km chargeability targetextending from surface to approximately 800 metres depth.
That target sits within a broader 3 km × 4 km copper-molybdenum surface anomaly, supported by mapped alteration, a magnetic low and rock-chip values of up to 1.7% Cu.
The next step: drilling.
Latin Explore is planning an initial ~2,000-metre, three-hole drill program in Q4 2026, with first assay results anticipated in early 2027.
Donovan also discusses Auquis, the Company’s second 100%-owned Peruvian exploration asset, and Latin Explore’s broader South American growth strategy.

𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲? 🟠🌎
Because producing copper and having copper 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 are two very different things.
Copper has to travel through an entire chain:
⛏️ 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙚 → 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 → 𝙎𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧 → 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙮 → 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 → 𝘾𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧
And right now, trade policy is helping reshape where that metal moves.
U.S. imports of copper from the Democratic Republic of Congo reached a record 𝟱𝟯,𝟮𝟵𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, while tariff expectations have been influencing global trade flows and inventories.
Meanwhile, LME copper has recently traded around record levels above 𝗨𝗦$𝟭𝟰,𝟱𝟬𝟬/𝘁.
The takeaway?
𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼.
A tonne of copper on the wrong side of the world isn't necessarily available to the manufacturer that needs it tomorrow.

Latin Explore Inc. (TSXV: LXE) has completed new 3D modelling at its 100%-owned 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗠𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗯𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘂, defining a large, coherent priority target ahead of the Project’s first-ever drilling.
The principal IP chargeability target measures approximately:
⚡ 𝟭.𝟴 𝗸𝗺 × 𝟭.𝟲 𝗸𝗺
📏 Extends from surface to approximately 𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵
🧲 Overlaps a pronounced 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗼𝘄
🪨 Coincides with mapped 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
🟠 Sits within a broader 𝟯 𝗸𝗺 × 𝟰 𝗸𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗺𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗯𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘆
⛏️ Surface rock sampling has returned values of up to 𝟭.𝟳% 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿
What makes this target particularly important is the 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 — 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 — 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮.
And now comes the part we have been working toward:
𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.
Latin Explore is finalizing preparations for an initial approximately 𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬-𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 designed to test the principal target at multiple elevations.
🔹 Holes 1 & 2 will test the core of the overlapping chargeability response and magnetic low beneath the surface Cu-Mo anomaly.
🔹 Hole 3 will test the southwest and depth extent of the interpreted system.
Para has never been drilled, despite extensive historical exploration and drill-target definition by Vale.
Drilling is planned for 𝗤𝟰 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, subject to receipt of outstanding administrative and regulatory approvals, with first assays expected in early 2027.
For Latin Explore, this will be the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙝 — 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮.

During an unusually tight period on the London Metal Exchange, the premium for cash copper over three-month copper briefly reached approximately US$545 per tonne or about US$0.25/lb.
For context, three-month LME copper was trading at approximately US$14,250/t, or US$6.46/lb, at the time. In other words, the market was briefly willing to pay an additional ~US$0.25/lb simply to secure copper for immediate delivery rather than three months later.
That tells us something important about the copper market:
𝘾𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 ≠ 𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧.
Before copper reaches an end user, it moves through an entire chain:
𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲 → 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 → 𝗦𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘁 → 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 → 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 → 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿
A disruption or bottleneck anywhere along that chain can affect where copper is available, when it can be delivered, and what buyers are willing to pay to secure it.
That is why the long-term copper supply discussion goes far beyond simply producing more tonnes.
It requires:
▪ New discoveries
▪ Geographic diversity of supply
▪ Smelting and refining capacity
▪ Infrastructure
▪ Inventories
▪ Efficient global trade flows
Copper prices and premiums can move in a matter of hours.
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀.
For exploration companies, that last point matters: tomorrow’s copper supply begins with the discoveries being made today.
