We took 15% of Trump’s 1.97 million NJ votes (~295k people) and moved them back from Sherrill/Democrats to Ciattarelli/Republicans
Governor
Actual: Sherrill 56.9% – Ciattarelli 42.5%
Adjusted: Ciattarelli 51.7% – Sherrill 48.3%
→ Ciattarelli wins by ~112k votes
Assembly
Actual: Democrats 57–23 (D +15.7 popular vote)
Adjusted: Popular vote flips to R lead. Close districts (LD-2, 8, 21, 25, 3, etc.) reverse
→ Republicans likely take the majority (roughly mid-40s seats)
The same uniform shift that flipped multiple Senate/gov races in 2026 would have flipped NJ’s 2025 races the other way
If this logic is applied to the 2025 NJ Gov race, Jack won 🧐, interesting, was NJ the test before the 2026? Who knows, it's probably worth looking into though, why not?
