A lot of people used to wear 15, after Brian Wood. When you gauge his play keep his stick in mind. STX Sammie’s were wide. They were also flat with a thin one-inch sidewall.
If you watch until the end, you’ll see Wood’s actual stick. The clips take on new meaning after examining the stick.

Many think of the Air Gait as the greatest lacrosse play of all time.
But it wasn’t even the most important play of that game.
It was the 1988 semifinal, the game was tied with seconds left and Paul Gait delivered one of history’s most clutch goals. Watch the poise as he checks the clock. Also watch John Zulburti celebrate.
The great, dreadlocked Tom Ryan talks about that being the first college game he saw. Afterwards he asked his friends, “that was awesome is every game like that?”
