Under apartheid, the NP used “Swart gevaar” to scare white voters.
Under majority rule, the ANC uses “They are bringing back apartheid” to scare black voters.
There was no swart gevaar back then; and no one wants to bring back any apartheid now.
Demand accountability. Simple.

ActionSA spoke and acted as though they needed no one
Also, they never imagined DA getting votes in what ActionSA thought were their strongholds (with anc)

Guys, The DA took CT with an increased majority at 58% but I could resist noticing
1. The DA has not concentrated the leadership and success of the party on an individual, their system is consistently developing new leaders some who are very young for the future, this Young man who is Mayor in CT is likely President in two years
2. They have a robust operation model which keeps most of its representatives in check and performing, and they deploy the best people technically and professionally
3. They have a vision to govern SA something they have been working on for years and it's slowly coming to pass and yes SA will perform much better under their rule not because they are white driven but they have both skills and ability to deploy effectively
4. The politics of the Dza though not perfect is something to emulate, solid, results based, strong institutions, fact based
5. The sign off I can bet my last dollar all the other parties full of oldies have no plans for the next 20years, the DA has it's people in place already
💙 THANK YOU, CAPE TOWN! 🇿🇦
To every resident who placed their faith and trust in the DA, thank you!
Your support is a responsibility we take seriously. We remain committed to protecting the progress Cape Town has made, and building a city that works for all.
💙 Thank you for being part of Cape Town's journey forward!

The beauty of democracy is that you can always change your mind and pick someone else.
To be honest, I am of the opinion that a democracy only functions well when power is changed regularly. Where there is no competition, there is stagnation.

Most black South Africans don’t give a fuck about race; they just want their country to work regardless of who is in charge. All those politicians who use race to get votes, you better come to the party

Nah, it's a vote service delivery. Race doesn't deliver, leadership does

Lemme tell you what I do remember when I vote - I don’t have to sign up to a security company like I did in Jo’burg. I’ve never had to visit the municipality to sort out an incorrect bill. My license renewal takes an hour and there’s cops everywhere to keep the tsotsis away - 😉

WATCH | Matlhora Primary School stands empty as no one showed up to vote. Residents of Ga-Chokoe near Lephalale in Limpopo boycotted voting, allegedly over a demarcation issue and complaints about candidates who they claim won’t have their best interests at heart.
