Hey everyone, We want to give you an update on the recent issues with the Rujira website not loading properly. To begin with, we are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience while we work on resolving it. When we built Rujira, we designed it to give users a better experience than Kujira, where you sometimes had to manually switch connections. With Rujira, everything is meant to load at once, including your balances, App Layer and Base Layer LP positions, Perps, Merge balance, all with real time updates. This approach is a must if we want to compete with centralized exchanges. As we have added more features, the system has put extra strain on the connections that deliver this data. Every time a user connects, all of this information is requested at once, causing spikes in response times and prevents the website from loading. This is strictly a front-end issue. Your funds are safe and never at risk. That said, we are aware that downtime on the interface limits your ability to monitor or manage active perp positions in real time and that it carries trading risk. We are taking this very seriously and downtime of the website is not acceptable. Access to your funds and positions must always be possible, and with open leverage, this becomes even more critical. That’s why making the website faster and more reliable is our highest priority right now. We are actively working on major improvements that will solve the current problems and make the app far more scalable for the future.
