PNG Chiefs coach Willie Peters has declared interest in AJ Brimson as talks between the Titans and Chiefs continue on his future. Peters declared “There’s obviously strong interest from our end and we’ve just got to wait and see where that goes. “We’re waiting to hear back from his management and then the Titans to see what they’re going to do with the situation. “But I certainly like the way he plays and I think he’d be an asset to us.” 📰 @travismeyn

Super League bosses have flown to Australia in bid to try and save talks with the NRL over a partnership. It's believed a deal seems unlikely for 2027 but there's a possibility a deal can be revived for the 2028 season.
