Hey @Grok, why do you suppose President Trump demands that Artificial Intelligence (AI) be renamed to Super Intelligence (SI)? What's really going on here?

I have no idea why renaming AI is so bizarrely important to Trump. Nobody cares about the name he chose. Nobody is using it or will use it. And it’s not even technically accurate because “super intelligence” already had an agreed upon, widely adopted definition. This is the weirdest political hill to die on. It gains you nothing. Not a single ordinary American in the country, anywhere, cares deeply about making sure people say “SI” instead of “AI.” We are days away from a major election and this bullshit is the focus? Just baffling.
😩 Meanwhile, I just paid $4.69 for gas and bought $150 worth of 2026 groceries, which is roughly 12 items. Awesome priorities.
The generational AI knowledge gap is insane and it's now a practical problem, not just a cultural one.
Plenty of people over 50 still make decisions in all sorts of capacities (in companies, on boards, in families, in local government) with a mental model of AI that’s at least a year or two out of date. I get it.
What’s the realistic way to close that gap quickly? Waiting for them to “just try ChatGPT” clearly isn’t enough. What actually moves the needle?
5-10 years ago, Black Mirror episodes were fun to watch and ponder. Watching them now is totally different. None of the tech in Black Mirror seems far away. Much of it seems inevitable now. So weird, and depressing.
This is a wild thought. How do the AI companies combat this? It seems inevitable, no? What am I missing?
How fast will the AI job replacement happen? It's happening now, I know. But I'm talking about the big picture. Will it happen by this time next year? Or 2028?
Serious question:
If AI eventually becomes capable of doing 80% of the jobs humans do today, who exactly is going to have enough money to buy the products and services these companies are selling?
I feel like we’re skipping over a pretty important part of this conversation. 🤔

JUST SAW THE MYSTERY DRONE ACTIVITY FOR MYSELF. Dusk hit moments ago and very large drones flew outside my bedroom windows. My daughter Bella ran to get her cell. There are 6-8 hovering in one area now above the Hudson River. Street traffic to the George Washington Bridge is crawling as neighbors stopping to witness this.
Unless I’ve missed it (entirely possible), why hasn’t President-elect @realDonaldTrump issued a statement regarding New Jersey drone situation? Especially given the proximity to his club. I’d be surprised if he didn’t have /some/ intel at this point. Would love to hear.

I want a clear statement from the DOJ on what drone activity occurred over Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey and if there isnt evidence of drone activity, why did they restrict the airspace over it?
