Never thought I’d be coding on my phone, but here I am…

Highly recommend for anyone who’s ever tried making a video with an agent. This works 10x better than anything you’ve tried. Bonus is add remotion skills along with the github.com/diffusionstudio/s… diffusion skills
We finally cracked it! We built an open-source video editor that turns every edit into code. I got tired of agents: → Losing context → Giving me outputs I couldn’t modify So we flipped it: → Code is the new database.

Why build in rust? "Make no mistakes" is built in.

Now why would claude code be segfaulting?

Maybe codex can figure it out

Personally, I don't think claude code is big enough.

Persistent sandboxes & durable shared storage feel like the right primitives for autonomous engineering. The magical part, at least for me, is when an agent can test its changes against real infrastructure. The tedious parts of our stack isn't the actual coding, its the devops loop around it. How does this k8s change impact sandbox deployment rollouts? Does adding a new protocol message type for our shared filesystem break existing filesystems? Does the new image actually boot correctly with nested-virt? These are scenarios the codex/claude code/whatever can test without my input now. I attach the required creds to the sandbox, and just spin up codex (with --dangerously-bypass-approvals-and-sandbox of course) and let it get to work. I can do that by making sure the sandboxes the agents start up with have an appropriate gcp service account, letting claude/gpt create the resources it needs to test. So now the question is how to scale that. Can development become deploying a fleet of agents on durable, credential-scoped computers that can build, deploy, observe, debug, and iterate against real infrastructure in parallel? I think it can, we just need the right primitives.

Working on getting our shared filesystem that we use for sandboxes working on mac. The question is could we make sharing agentic workloads between your laptop and the cloud feasible by just sharing the filesystem across those locations? Our filesystem ('basin') is a FUSE filesystem that stores deduplicated "blocks" in object storage. Fortunately, it also supports a local mode where it just writes the blocks to disk. Unfortunately, it is FUSE, which mac doesn't support natively. I could have gone with macFUSE, or I could just write my own adapter utilizing Apple's FSKit which maps FSKit operations to FUSE. I went with the latter, building 'fusekit' which allows mounting any FUSE filesystem on mac, as long as it supports communicating with a file descriptor. Still some work to do, but I'm excited to spin up a bunch of agentic coding session remotely, and still work with them as if they were local.

Your company, your agent. A few beliefs about building a universal company agent: 1. You should own it, and it should feel like yours. 2. One agent surface. Not a swarm of fake coworkers with personalities and unique capabilities. 3. It should integrate with anything that has an API, not just MCP. 4. Every piece should be swappable for the best in the world at that piece. A full-stack AI platform, not a wrapper. 5. It should run anywhere, from on premises to fully managed. No lock-in. 6. It shouldn't be a framework or an unneeded abstraction. It should be just code you can run, own, and control. adapt.com We believe every company will have a central company agent. Today a company's intelligence is scattered across its tools and the few people who know where everything lives. The company agent changes that. At Adapt, our job is to build the infrastructure for your company agent. It's time to build.

Working on just being able to spin up arbitrarily sized sandboxes (microvms) just through query params. Need to run a one-off command? Just stick with the defaults. Need something beefier for coding/compiling/testing/whatever? Bump the resources.

I think having started out building cloud-based developer environments has helped with building cloud-based agent environments.

Ghostty is great. So why not try hooking it up to some ephemeral sandboxes? Experimenting with compiling Ghostty to webassembly and connecting it to a pty inside the sandbox.

I'm curious if Anthropic (and other labs) watermarking text output could lead to less AI slop. If it's so easy to detect emails & webpages as AI-generated, then what happens when gmail and google starts auto-marking them as spam?

Old news actually from a bunch of days ago, but crossed that 15M. Enjoy a nice reset everyone. Landing in the next hour or so, go /fast.

Pretty cool to just have LLMs optimize their own inference code. This one's an experiment with getting Kimi K3 running on a single A100 (40GB) to optimize weight streaming from disk -> RAM -> HBM.
