I had the best day in the bookshop today but my FAVOURITE moment was a boy (aged 12ish) coming in begging for Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan.
Heβd started reading it in school yesterday and couldnβt wait to dive back in. He was so surprised that Iβd reread them all this year π₯°
Absolutely devastated to hear that Dame Maggie Smith passed away this morning.
Maggieβs character work was part of my inspiration to study Drama. Rest, maβam.
