Things are fucked up. Admittedly. The trick is not just to see the beauty in the mess. Be the beauty. 😉🥰😍

Be as defensive as you need. I honor and respect your feelings. Here to love not to manipulate. Sometimes it's important to withhold, to create an internal space to heal. I let you be. You let me be. We hold a sacred space for one another to be.

The Hero's Journey is a universal, deeply personal experience. We all experience it in our own deeply personal ways through our successive, helical stages of awakening. You are the hero of your own story as I am the hero of mine. Follow the Yellow Brick Road, Get small and fall into the rabbit hole. Same thing. Just sayin' ;-)

My great grandfather wrote a little booklet called "Whence The Tourist Camp", which I have since lost. But the family farm used to run through old Highway 40 back in the 1930's, the camp turned into The All States Village, which had 48 units, one for every state in the Union. It was one of the first Motels.

When I-70 went through the family farm, my great grandfather, invested $300,000 to invest in and build the 34th Howard Johnson's franchise and learned how the Hotel/Motel business really worked at the time.

We copied HoJo's and created out own brand of Motel, The Travelier Motel, this is the picture of the pool. My Aunt Tina is sitting near the diving board to the left. My Mom, who was new to the family, is sitting on the ladder of the pool in the middle. This was probably 1961, ten years later I started my first job as a bell hop at the family motel.
