An 18-year-old went fishing alone Wednesday evening in Maryland. The next morning, his boat was found capsized. He is still missing. 💔 Mark Everett Coates III (18), affectionately known as Marcus, was last seen around 5pm on November 4 near the Hatem Memorial Bridge on the Susquehanna River. He had launched his 10-foot aluminum jon boat from the Water Street Boat Ramp in Havre de Grace. Thursday morning, the boat was discovered overturned near Garrett Island. Marcus was nowhere to be found. Search crews have been using boats, divers, aircraft, and search dogs to locate him. Marcus recently graduated high school and is pursuing a career in welding. He loves fishing, something his mother introduced him to when he was little. Mom has been pleading for help and prayers, writing, “I want my son home.” He was last seen wearing a bright yellow-green long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Authorities are asking boaters to avoid the Susquehanna River between the Route 40 and I-95 bridges while search operations continue. STILL MISSING: LILLY AND JACK SULLIVAN — 18 MONTHS LATER Lilly (6) and Jack Sullivan (4) vanished from their home in Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia, on May 2, 2025. Eighteen months later, neither child has been found. No arrests have been made in connection with their disappearance, and investigators still cannot explain what happened. Their mother reported them missing around 10am, saying they appeared to have wandered away from the family’s rural property. But here’s what we know now. The children were last independently seen on surveillance footage at a store the previous afternoon. A pink blanket belonging to Lilly was discovered in the woods approximately one kilometre from their home. A tracking dog couldn’t establish a scent trail. Another piece was later found in a garbage bag near the property. Search teams have combed the surrounding woods, waterways, wells, septic systems and abandoned mine shafts. Human-remains detection dogs have also been brought in. Nothing has led investigators to the children. Court documents later revealed allegations of domestic abuse involving their mother and stepfather, Daniel Martell. In January 2026, Martell was arrested and charged with sexual assault, assault and unlawful confinement involving an adult. He denies the allegations, and police say those charges are unrelated to the children’s disappearance. Investigators conducted additional polygraph examinations in February but have refused to identify who was tested. Earlier examinations of the mother and stepfather reportedly indicated truthful responses. By the one-year anniversary, RCMP reported interviewing 106 people, evaluating 1,191 tips and reviewing more than 8,000 video files. And still, no answers. Police continue to classify this as a missing-person investigation and say all possible scenarios remain under consideration. I have a very difficult time accepting that two small children simply wandered into the woods together and disappeared without leaving more evidence behind. Where are Lilly and Jack Sullivan? And what actually happened inside or around that home before they vanished? A reward of up to $150,000 CAD remains available for information. A 10-year-old girl has been missing in Philadelphia for an entire week. Now police are searching with CADAVER DOGS. Jalayshia “Malayshia” Alford disappeared on October 26 from the 500 block of North Simpson Street in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was last seen around 7:30am, reportedly wearing her blue school uniform and glasses. Jalayshia is in foster care. Just three days ago, police said they believed she might be staying with friends or relatives who were unaware she was missing. Now cadaver dogs have been brought in. What changed? Was Jalayshia on her way to school that morning? Did she ever make it there? Who was the last person to see her? And what prompted investigators to search this particular area with cadaver dogs?
