No, it doesn’t. Heed this warning @jordanbpeterson, you are being lied to by a group of predators who want people to buy the crypto they already own for inflated prices. The true design of bitcoin was never about making early adopters rich or somehow saving us from banks. It’s about honesty and accountability - two things the Crypto industry know nothing about. You can see some of my work on this topic at bitcoinsv.academy where we teach the original design, which is not what they sell as Bitcoin. It’s also the only viable blockchain - and you don’t have to buy it.

The Blockchain is a database that indexes transfers. The original method of transferring bitcoin was IP to IP. Nodes only referenced the transfer. A user send bitcoin directly to another user and only then after the exchange occurred would the transaction be referenced/indexed
