Followed.
And, yes. Rio shouldn't start today. Told someone else the same thing yesterday, not sound enough defensively to help out against Arsenal's way of bringing numbers both inside and out.
Barcola RW in such games is the way. He's used to it.
Liverpool face Arsenal, and if we want to beat them at Anfield, we have to control them.
If we want to control them, we need to be wary of one thing in particular......
I don't have time to go into huge depth, but I'd love a follow on Substack!⤵️⤵️⤵️

Four minutes from an 18-minute video of me looking at some of the defensive improvements that Iraola's made at Liverpool.
I thought the Brentford game was an excellent example of how much our press has improved this season.
Some of Liverpool's performances, especially defensively, have been excellent.
We're not perfect, but after wins vs Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton, I looked at what Andoni Iraola's getting right.
I'd love it if you checked it out on YouTube!⤵️⤵️⤵️

Moleiro is highlighted in the first image - he's essentially Villarreal's LW. He's caused Araujo and our press huge issues by moving inside the pitch
In the second, the defence needs to step up more, but also, one or Mac or Grav need to drop deeper. Grav should help Rio too.

I've been wanting to express why I feel so bitter about Man City's cheating, because as much as they've taken away from Liverpool, they've robbed memories from me that I'll never get back.
I had my say on Substack, but you can watch it here too⤵️⤵️⤵️

1/2. It doesn't hurt to be bold. 👊
From starting my Substack to writing for @LFCTransferRoom and founding @LFCWritersGuild, I've spent the past year building a foundation in football media - and I'm so proud of that.
But I want to go further, so I'm pinning my portfolio below ⤵️
