Boys not seeing women as human beings to relate to in literature is a failure of adult men to teach their sons that women are human.
It is MISOGYNY.

Ngl I would’ve been distraught as a child because I would have carefully chosen a bear and would have immediately clocked that it’s face was different when it came out of this

They’ve created such an absurd caricature of Democrats that all they have to do is show up and not sound crazy and they can own conservatives.
"Get rid of borders?" "No." "Get rid of SCOTUS?" "No." "Get rid of jails?" "No."
@ShannonBream fires off a series of questions to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani about the Democratic Socialists of America, an organization he proudly says he belongs to.
After Mamdani rejects all three proposals, Bream asks whether the DSA will kick him out. He answers "No" again, this time with laughter.

Argue with a wall. I don’t know what to tell you. Teach your boys to read and appreciate and enjoy books written by and about everyone.
Replying to @katie_campione
You're not really responding to the points on offer, here. No one is denying that lots of classics by men exist. But children learning to read and love reading aren't usually reading old books. I'll give my kids old books, and they'll be better for it.

Think about Colin Jost’s side of this night.
You take Scarlett Johansson to a romantic East Village spot. Dinner goes amazing. You invite her to meet your friends. She stares at you, says "I gotta go now, I need to leave," and vanishes into the NYC night by 9:36 PM.
He was at the bar telling his friends his life was over while she was standing in her living room explaining social anxiety to her babysitter.
Scarlett Johansson panicked and bailed on her first date with Colin Jost after he suggested getting drinks because she didn’t know how dating worked. She was home by 9:36 and her babysitter was confused
“I honestly never got asked out before. People don’t believe me, but it’s true.”
“I was serially monogamous, and I never really got the traditional, ‘Would you like to have dinner sometime?’”
“He actually asked me on a date. We went to an Italian restaurant in the East Village. It was a lovely date.”
“After dinner, he suggested meeting some friends and grabbing a drink.”
“I hadn’t really dated before, so I was just like, ‘I gotta go now. I need to leave.’”
“I got home to relieve my babysitter, and it was 9:36.”
“She was like, ‘Why are you home?’”
“Later, Colin told me he thought that was it. He couldn’t understand why I was acting so weird.”
“I just felt so flustered. I panicked. I don’t know.”

2. Time blindness: If I have an appointment at 6 p.m., congratulations. My entire day now belongs to 6 p.m. I cannot properly start anything. I can’t fully relax. I can’t commit to something else because “What if I lose track of time?” I cannot rest, cannot focus, cannot commit to anything else until it's over. And somehow, despite spending the entire day thinking about the appointment… I may still be late. Especially if leaving the house is involved. The irony is not lost on me. 🥲
