What you call the GC movement hasn’t ever been a monolith, but a loose collection of separate political movements and individuals, some of whom have literally nothing in common but the belief that sex is real and matters. This has been both blessing and curse.
On the positive side, real, lasting solidarity has been forged between women in different political parties who’ve worked collaboratively to fight back against the massive assault on their rights. On the negative, left-wing feminists are being lumped together with people whose attitude towards gender expression is as regressive as that of hardened trans activists (‘if you want to wear lipstick and a dress, you’re a woman’/‘dresses and lipstick are only for women’).
I will say this, though. Many, many women who wouldn’t have thought twice ten years ago about asking for help from a gorgeous young man in lipstick working at the MAC counter have now been on the receiving end of so much aggression and so many direct threats from men in lipstick that they’ve developed a conditioned response, an instinctive wariness, where formerly there was complete indifference.
I’ve experienced this personally. I was approached in the street by a pink-haired young man with what I’ll call very exuberant dress sense and my adrenaline shot through the roof. For a second I thought, ‘this is where I finally get punched.’ And he couldn’t have been sweeter, wanted to talk Harry Potter and get a selfie.
Ten years ago my immediate response to somebody with his style would have been purely appreciative, but no longer, sadly, and the change in me, and in a lot of other women, has been brought on by a tsunami of threats and rage, not because we think there’s anything innately wrong with men wearing make up.
They should be prosecuted not protected. Protection of babies must come before the feelings of grown men. AHRC skewed understanding of rights will be its death knell
Tonight, Sex Discrimination Commissioner Dr Anna Cody confirmed that biological men who induce lactation are protected under breastfeeding discrimination laws.
This is nothing more than State sanctioned perversion. A biological man cannot breast feed.
It’s time to end this madness and put the interests of children first.

This is not getting enough attention. A contingent of Swedish trans women are calling for the repeal of self ID laws.
Key demands include:
— Repealing the 2025 law and restoring a requirement for medical investigation and a formal diagnosis of transsexualism.
— Raising the age limit for legal gender change back to 18.
— Basing placement in women’s prisons on biological sex, with individual risk assessments, and prohibiting legal gender changes during a sentence.
— Creating national rules for sex-segregated spaces that weigh biological sex, medical transition status, and safety risks rather than pure self-ID.
The signatories explicitly state that women’s safety must not be sacrificed and that criticism within the movement should not be treated as taboo.

And also, parents need to know this is what’s going on in Australian schools. Parents don’t even know they have the RIGHT to opt their kids out of these classes!!The principals sometimes don’t even know until they contact the Department of Education, as was my experience.
Remove your child from the respectful relationships program. They just go to another classroom and do homework. Schools MUST accommodate!
Parents need to be proactive and at the start of the year, send an email to principal and teachers saying NO to respectful relationships or any classes on sexuality.

The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism.
But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot.
The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt.
We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days.
By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show.
There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't.
Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity.
Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics.
We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training.

Every state in this country is going in the wrong direction at light speed. Australia has over-engineered every aspect of navigating "gender identity" and we are in very deep trouble right now. Billions are being wasted on it, the rights of women and gay people have been obliterated and gender ideologues in government, whose salaries we pay, will not engage with our views. Our political system is infested and corrupted by gender identity ideology and the opportunity to vote federal and state governments ignoring us about it, can't come soon enough.

Tasmania's Conversion Practices Prohibition Bill deletes "homosexuality", "bisexuality" and "heterosexuality" from the Anti-Discrimination Act, and replaces them with attraction to a "gender".
The bill doesn't say what gender means.
A law meant to protect lesbian, gay and bisexual people shouldn't write us out of the law.

Things are happening in the Netherlands.This man is Samme Kors, a child of a sperm donor who grew up without his dad. He describes the whole scene of IVF and gay surrogacy as "psychological terror".
He is speaking from experience. The Dutch PM's announcement that he's having a baby made him "sick to the stomach" -- because Dutch media only emphasize how gay dreams can come true through surrogacy, but never admit that children are footing the bill.

The High Court has just made a ruling to overturn the government’s decision to ban the use of puberty blocker chemicals in children - the judge declared the regulations unlawful and invalid and set them aside.
We will demand that this decision be immediately appealed by the Minister of Health.
Our country needs to come to our senses and base these critical health decisions on evidence. Not on process.
Puberty blockers are banned indefinitely in the UK and the Nordic countries for anyone under 18. This ruling makes New Zealand sit in stark contrast to that.
NZFirst was the only party who campaigned on the banning of puberty blockers in kids and the only party who fought hard to ensure the government brought this ban in.
We will continue that fight to ensure commonsense and normality wins.

There is no situation in which #unconventionalgas should be permitted to be extracted from closely settled areas. There is no transparency from QGC, no communication to help mentally prepare residents for the torture of feeling your house vibrate & shake around you while the freight train that never arrives leaves you in a state of nervous exhaustion.

The ‘commercial benefits’ of our natural resources, if ever realised, should NEVER come at the expense of Australians health, wellbeing and the destruction of places people call home.

Buck Angel is a woman who identifies as a transsexual (not transgender), did so around the age of 30 when her brain was fully formed, doesn’t consider herself a male and even though she prefers he/him pronouns she doesn’t compel anyone’s speech or judge anyone’s dissent. As a matter of fact, she is vehemently opposed to paediatric gender affirming care, and speaks openly about the harms of bottom surgery for females (that she refused to have) citing insider wisdom from harms caused to other females from these types of extreme treatments. Here she is, educating the world on the harms of puberty blockers. Her voice in this space is super important, in my opinion, because there are still many true believers so captured by many activist talking points that they will only listen to someone like Buck who’s been there. If you aren’t going to listen to “cis, heterosexuals or TERFS” how about listening to your own community and stop giving children blockers.
