JUST IN: Entire home seen floating away in Asheville, North Carolina as tropical storm Helene demolishes the state.
The situation is so bad that a 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. curfew is now in effect.
The city is facing what experts are calling a 1 in 1000-year event with the French Broad River reaching over 25 feet, breaking the July 16, 1916 record of 23.1 feet.

So happy that NC had 3 schools in the sweet sixteen and 2 NC schools played each other. A great showing for all 3 schools in this year’s NCAA tournament. Congratulations athletes and Coaches on your efforts. Congratulations NCSU for making it to the semi-finals. Well Done!
Hey!! Hey!! Eagles!!
Don’t forget- log those reading minutes. The class with 100% participation- gets a STEM day in the media center!! All students who turn in their reading logs will be entered for a free book to add to their personal library!! @jgmespta @JeffreysGroveES
