Save the date for our Scholastic Book Fair! The fair will be from Oct. 30th to Nov. 3rd. Flyers will be coming home soon. Nervous about sending cash? Sign your student up for an eWallet at scholastic.com/bf/nitsch. Thank you for supporting our students and our library! @NitschKISD

We celebrated #HispanicHeritageMonth with 1st grade by reading "Dream Carver" and learning all about colorful alebrije carvings. Then, students decorated a paper fox alebrije. One student even wore a fox alebrije shirt! Did she read my mind?🤔 @NitschKISD @KleinLibraries

Today, our kindergarteners read "Alma and How She Got Her Name." We talked about how important names are, and I encouraged students to ask their families the story behind their own names. We finished up by making name rainbows! 🌈 @KleinLibraries @NitschKISD

We're so happy to have our @NitschKISD Knights back in the library! I could tell the books were getting restless without them. @KleinLibraries @KleinISD

Quote of the Week! I love Peter Pan; it's one of my favorite adventure stories. I have no doubt that our @NitschKISD Knights know how to fly!

Coming soon to teacher mailboxes @NitschKISD @KleinLibraries

It's almost that time, Nitsch Knights! Everyone is busy working hard to make sure you have a wonderful school year. We'll see you soon! #TakeTHEshot @KleinISD @KleinLibraries @NitschKISD

Wishing all of our students, staff and Nitsch Knight community a wonderful summer holiday! Stay safe and keep reading! @NitschKISD📚😎

Some of our classes got extra makerspace time in the library as a reward for turning in all of their books. It's always great watching their curiosity and creativity at work! @NitschKISD @KleinLibraries @KleinISD

Musical chairs + graphic novel book tasting= Awesome! These 4th graders did an excellent job of exploring new types of graphic novels today. 🎶📚@NitschKISD @KleinLibraries
