Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

The Government is making concerted efforts to redress historical marginalisation in ASAL and pastoralist areas through equitable and inclusive development.
This afternoon, I held a meeting with a section of leaders from North Horr Constituency led by area MP Hon. Wario Guyo.
The constituency is expansive and experiences occasional security challenges involving various communities in the area.
To ensure sustainable peace and harmonious coexistence among the communities and spur economic growth, we agreed with the leaders to fast-track operationalisation of two sub-counties in the constituency.
We will also increase security presence, organise more peacebuilding and conflict resolution campaigns and improve coordination of mobile ID registration, among other interventions.

This morning, I joined fellow leaders for an economic empowerment drive at Kamoi Market in Sengwer Ward, Elgeyo-Marakwet County. The county-wide program is the initiative of the Woman Representative, Hon. Caroline Ng'elechei, in conjunction with the OKM Foundation.
I updated the residents on the progress of government projects in the region spanning security, housing, education, roads, environment, and health.

The official renaming of Talanta Stadium to Raila Odinga International Stadium is a fitting tribute to Baba's enduring legacy, especially as we come to the end of October, the month dedicated to commemorating his life and legacy. Secondly, congratulations on the announcement that Bayern Munich will face Ajax on 5th January 2027 to officially open the stadium. This historic match will demonstrate Kenya's readiness ahead of AFCON 2027 while positioning the country as a global sports and tourism destination.

Honored that my home County of Kitui hosted the Head of State during his development tour of the South Eastern (Ukambani) Region.
As a passionate educationist and TVET champion, I was especially proud that his visit to Tseikuru National Polytechnic highlighted additional amenities, including student hostels being built to help us skill our youth across the vast county in conducive environments with adequate facilities.
As a STEM advocate, I hope more young girls will opt to pursue technical training at this National Polytechnic and gain the competencies and skills to drive the Industrial Revolution. We will also continue pushing our County Governments to upgrade existing “youth polytechnics” into decent, modern vocational training centres as a reform we advocated during my tenure serving at the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms constituted by The President in 2022, where we have since then implemented a myriad of reforms to grow the TVET sub-sector. 💪🏾💪🏾
