it was nice knowing y’all. 2007-2022, wow. births, deaths, everything in between: met the wife here, made friends, met amazing people, had multiple career/life 180s and still found community. i will miss everyone! i don’t love mastodon so i’ll just be floating around lurking. ❤️

It is downright embarrassing that an entire team of writers and reviewers at @Cloudflare thought that this was something to brag about on their blog. Can you imagine retailers being like, “yeah we sell Confederate flags in our stores but we donate all the proceeds to charity.”

ohh me too. a dr ignoring me until he saw me w/an mcat prep anki deck, the next 15m was unsolicited lecture on his specialty. my multilingual dad w/icu delirium, the yt drs thought him rude until i said he had a medical degree & wasn’t speaking english. whiplash from that 180 🙃

I was getting coffee with my daughter this morning. A white woman saw us, came over to us and said, “ohhhh, whose child did you steal.” I laughed and said, “only white people can steal other people’s kids and act like they’re theirs.” She grabbed her coffee and left.

2 years of medical intervention to ttc, 2 awful pregnancies w/hemorrhaging and 9mo of HG, and 2 kids later: no trouble removing tubes but everyone pushed back on a hysto. it‘s been easier to explore from a gender affirming standpoint than just that i’m fucking done with it. 🤨

i would love for apple to come out with a simplified privacy-preserving guide to tracking cycles in the Health app, along with changes to make sharing and off-device storage of this data more difficult and with a warning. paper tracking can be a nonstarter for disabled folks 🤷🏻

i’ve been using @1Password since version 2. our family has always stuck with 1pw even through subscription and cloud changes. our preschooler was gonna learn to use it soon. but this. i don’t care if it’s only solana right now. there’s plans for more. we’re done. cancelling.

I didn’t even notice this part in @1Password’s announcement. “first of many partnerships […] in the cryptocurrency space”. So this isn’t just a once-off thing, they really are focusing on this. That clinches it, they’ve definitely lost my business.

It’s definitely for ads. I just scrolled my timeline and screenshotted the first three ads I saw. Not only are all of them full-screen, but one has an extra banner that stayed even as I was scrolling away, and the ads were also more frequent.
