I am writing this without consulting my lawyer because it is the right thing to do, regardless of the legal implications. In early August, I made a terrible mistake by claiming that Byron Donalds and Cory Mills were under federal investigation. I received this information from someone I trusted, but I accept the DOJ’s public statement that neither man is under investigation, which means that I bore false witness.
As a Catholic, I take the Ten Commandments seriously. After speaking with my priest and going to confession, I have a moral obligation to publicly retract my statement and apologize.
I apologize to Byron, Cory, and their families for what I said.
To be clear, neither man nor their lawyers asked me to write this, and neither has ever contacted me about it.
I sinned against my fellow man, and I am sorry. I ask God for forgiveness and pray that I can make amends.

For five minutes straight, Liz Wheeler on Piers Morgan flat-out refuses to answer a simple yes or no on Vivek Ramaswamy’s disgusting ad that platformed Amy Acton’s mother—the same woman who stayed with the man charged with molesting her daughter until he died.
She dances, pivots, calls Acton a “tyrant,” and refuses to disavow it. This is the establishment Republican mindset in one clip: protect the team, dodge the obvious, play politics on something that should be an easy rejection.
This is exactly the lying, deceptive behavior that made me leave the party.
I’m not supporting the majority of them in the midterms. I wouldn’t mind watching Democrats beat them as a straight-up punishment for it.

Vatican crimes exposed!
What happens when you won’t go to war for the Vatican but instead use intellect and diplomacy to win without bloodshed?
Frederick II (1194-1250), used diplomacy, not war, to recover Jerusalem but was excommunicated and accused of heresy and paganism for not raising an army for a 6th crusade.
You’d think the church would learn from past failure!
And the Vatican accusing someone else of paganism is rich!
Why was Fredrick II so hated by the church?
Recall Fredrick II was Holy Roman Emperor from 1220-1250 and King of Sicilia (1198-1250), a brilliant intellectual and statesman known as Stupor Mundi ("Wonder of the World").
Fredrick II had already been punished by the church and declared an enemy of the Vatican by Pope Gregory IX because he dared be educated, diplomatic, and not a crusader! He refused to be a warmonger.
Fredrick II carried no papal mandate, no crusading legitimacy, and no absolution. What he did carry instead would prove far more effective.
How did he do it?
Frederick II was born in 1194 and became one of the most educated rulers in medieval Europe. The Vatican’s worst nightmare!
He spoke up to 9 languages and hosted Muslim scholars, Jewish philosophers, and Christian theologians at his court in Palermo simultaneously.
His relationship with Pope Gregory IX had collapsed completely by 1227 when Frederick delayed his crusade due to illness. Gregory excommunicated him immediately, refusing to accept the explanation.
Rather than raising an army, Frederick opened direct negotiations with Sultan Al-Kamil of Egypt, whom he had already been in correspondence with for years in Arabic. In February 1229, they signed the Treaty of Jaffa. Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Nazareth were returned to Christian control for ten years.
Though controversial and seen as a loss to the Muslim world: they only conceded some churches and some ruined houses. The sacred precincts, the venerated Rock and all the other sanctuaries to which we make our pilgrimages remain ours as they were; Muslim rites continue to flourish as they did before, and the Muslims have their own governor of the rural provinces and districts. Most importantly, war which the church wanted was avoided!
Frederick II then entered the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and, because every local priest had been ordered by Rome to refuse him any ceremony, placed the Imperial crown on his own head. The Patriarch of Jerusalem placed the entire city under interdict in protest — meaning no church services could be held anywhere in the holy city because its liberator was standing in it.
By 1245, Pope Innocent IV declared Frederick deposed at the Council of Lyon, the third major papal action against him.
What was Fredrick II’s legacy?
Fredrick established Europe’s first state funded university, the university of Naples in 1224 outside of church purview. Imagine that, wanting to educate his people! Officially it was established to train secular administrative staff and legal scholars for the Kingdom of Sicily, independent of ecclesiastical influence.
Frederick’s establishment of a strong, secular government in Sicily and his refusal to submit to papal authority over secular matters contradicted the medieval papal ideal of universal spiritual and temporal supremacy.
Frederick died in 1250 still holding his territories spanning across parts of Italy, Germany and all of Sicily, still undefeated, and still excommunicated by a Vatican, which proved itself feckless, toothless and hardly pious!
Why did Catholic Christian crusaders of the Fourth Crusade invade and sack Constantinople in April 1204 and murder 10,000s of Orthodox Christians?
This invasion was a pivotal event that permanently fractured the Byzantine Empire and deepened the schism between Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Christianity.
What motivated the Catholic crusaders to invade and destroy Constantinople, the holiest orthodox Christian city, in 1204?
Recall, the Fourth Crusade, promulgated by Pope Innocent III in 1198, was corrupted from its purpose early on.
Although the expedition was originally intended to recapture Jerusalem from Muslim control, it was diverted due to Venetian commercial interests, massive debts owed to Venice, and political intrigue involving the exiled Byzantine prince Alexius IV.
The cunning leader of Venice had offered a dark compromise. He convinced the desperate Crusaders to attack rival Christian cities to pay off their mounting expenses.
When the new emperor failed to pay his promised reward, the angry Crusaders lost all discipline. In February 1204 the new emperor was murdered and replaced by courtier Alexius Ducas, who told the crusaders to leave.
In April 12, 1204, they breached Constantinople's mighty stone walls.
The Catholic Christian crusaders spent three terrifying days looting the world's richest Christian city. They slaughtered 10,000s of fellow believers, torched ancient libraries, and stole sacred holy relics.
Did the Catholic Christian crusaders commit rape?
