$SPY Each ticker has a Net Volume threshold. Once it reaches that level, the chances of a reversal are lower, and the chances of the trend continuing are higher.
For SPY, the Market Tide threshold is ±500K Net Volume.
During today’s live trade, the main takeaway was that Net Volume was positive on both Holdings and Market Tide, put premiums were flat/negative, and call premiums were high. This matched the Net Flow Playbook.
I didn’t focus too much on the exact numbers. I focused on the overall setup: high call premiums, flat puts, and positive Net Volume.
For Market Tide, SPY hit its +500K Net Volume threshold at 8 AM PST, confirming strong bullish momentum.
