Costume designer (khun Wasin):
We also designed everyone's formal costumes from scratch, especially the king's.
In the series, you'll see that the king wears a crown shaped like a hat.
It was inspired by a traditional Lanna hat called a wom, worn in Mae Chaem District and among the Tai Lue people.
We adapted it into a hat for the king, turning it into a crown and adding Ullavee's animal symbol, the peacock.
