Final score (4OT): @Calera_Football 52, @football_helena 51 An unbelievably wild game that ends in the fourth OT with Helena failing to convert a two point play. Calera wins a gutsy, gutsy game and has now played 7 OTs the last two weeks.

If Braylyn Farrington isn’t on the radar of college coaches, this world is wrong. 7 catches, 179 yards, 3 TDs of 40 plus. 1 rushing TD. A 90-yard kick return for TD. Another 90-yard KR TD called back. One of the fastest players in the state. @braylynFarring1 @Calera_Football

Calera put together its best offensive game of the season by far on Thursday night, but a slow start to the second half became costly in a tight loss to Homewood. Story/Photos: shelbycountyreporter.com/202…

It was an incredibly late game for Briarwood and Calera on Friday. It wasn't until the game officially ended and overtime began that determined the winner in triple-overtime. @Calera_Football won 31-28 Story/Photo:shelbycountyreporter.com/202…

The talent at @CaleraHigh is insane, both on and OFF the field! Students in a Marketing class made this schedule graphic for us. I’m blown away. 🦅 Shoutout to Mr. Pevey for leading these students. You guys are amazing!

You can't ignore the job Mark Freeman did to lead Thompson to its third state championship in a row, while you also can't ignore that what Jason Hamlin did at Calera this season was one of the state's best coaching jobs. Coach of the Year: shelbycountyreporter.com/202…
