Perpetual futures on individual US stocks can now trade on regulated US exchanges for the first time.
The CFTC says these "Equity Perps" get both CFTC and SEC oversight. Until now, perps mostly lived on offshore crypto venues.

A fake job interview opened the door to the $6.34B Binance hack.
Binance says an engineer ran a malicious "assignment" from fake recruiters on his work computer. Attackers then used an internal AI tool to reach the wallet team.

Kraken has restricted accounts tied to a suspected $133M theft from an unnamed EU entity.
Kraken says the theft didn't start on its platform and its systems weren't compromised. Crypto.com is blocking the funds too.
Over $30M is already laundered, part of it into Monero.

$405M walked out of BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF in a single day.
That's IBIT's biggest daily outflow since June. US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now lost $1.04B in two sessions, starting right after the Binance hack.
That's clients redeeming, not BlackRock dumping its own Bitcoin.

XRP ETFs took in $4.3M last week.

🚨🚨🚨 I bonds now pay 5.51%, the highest rate since November 2022.
The fixed part is 1.40%, the best since 2006, and it's locked in for the life of the bond. $10,000 in I bonds earns about $275 in the first six months.

That's what Anthropic has committed to spend, almost all of it on compute and data centers, according to its amended IPO filing today. About $69.8 billion of it comes due in the next 12 months.
Midterms are tomorrow, and the calendar favors stocks.
The S&P 500 has been higher from November to April in all 19 midterm years since 1950. Average gain: 14.8%, vs 6.9% for that window in all years.

BREAKING: Hackers took over fridges and freezers at 70+ supermarkets in 4 European countries overnight ruining the food supply.
Temperatures were raised as high as 50°C, three weeks after hundreds of French supermarkets were hit the same way.
The Pentagon is also investigating similar freezer failures at 7+ US military bases.
